Play have thankfully got back in touch and said I can wait for a replacement (they're acknowledging I've sent it back) or get a refund. Still undecided... 247electrical mention on their website they're getting stock in on the 13th for the Samsung so maybe I'll leave it and see if Play do at the same time (they got stock in the same time at both places when I originally ordered with Play).

Oddly though, Play said the television had originally got lost in the post, despite the fact I sent it back with them, received a receipt off Parcel Force and it says 'returned' on my account.

Can anyone explain the difference between the RZ32LZ55 and the LX32LX2R? The former is suspiciously ?100 cheaper yet they both seem to offer similar specifications.

Just had it confirmed that my TV arrives tomorrow 24 hours before I join the HD bandwagan, it better of been worth the wait and worry

Not from what I can see in the spec sheet. For ?119.99 though you cannot really complain, upscaling HDMI and an included HDMI cable it really is a bargin. http://www.play.com/play247.asp?page...21&g=409&pa=sr

edit : 5* what hifi and what plasma/lcd winner as well ! Not an Arcam but I've not got 1k to burn for a slight difference !

I have that DVD player, I chose it over the more expensive Oppo in the end. It plays Divx fine and includes both DVI and HDMI leads etc.

I can't decide whether it can or not, type "hd950 divx" into google and you get a fair few places saying it can. I can't decide what info is correct

It must be, the 360's playback is pretty poor IMO.

If you guys can wait 12 days then I'll tell you all that the Sammy can do, should be able to pull the picture apart as well on the 40" screen, well as long as that is not filled with defective pixels

Just need to get these now to finish off the matching set

Are the Oppo's/Samsungs alot better than XBMC DVD player, as Im finding that very impressive at the moment.

Yeah it will be, they do HMDI output for a start
