I won't have completed pics for a few weeks, but today I started the work on my new lounge (our old bedroom). I'll try and get some pics posted up as it's coming along.
Worked all day, soon as I was home my friend and I started taking down polystyrene ceiling tiles, which was SOOOO much fun. 7 hours later and they're off. Except the gluePlasterer round on Sunday, thinking I'll chuck up some plasterboard tomorrow as the glue isn't coming off, and you can't plaster over that....

Yeah. He seemed happy to do it, and brought a mate along to help out
Was going to start working on Monday March 1st, but decided to bring forwards to get the main room (bedroom being converted into a lounge) plastered today, so there's time to dry before my week off. Then painting starts next weekend; then building a false ceiling and shelving unit for the new lounge, and dividing the old lounge with a stud partition wall for 2 kid's bedrooms.
On the plus side, I'm using this opportunity to get a nice projector setup in the new lounge (106" 2.35:1 scope screen) and wall mount the LCD TV. Negative is I'm not down the arcade machine due to space.
But fret not, after a day apart I'm contemplating buying a Capcom Mini Cute

Thought I'd pop these on as I'm moving soon so it'll be the last chance to show this setup as is and I've made a couple of changes.
Panasonic TH42PZ80 42" 1080p plasma TV
Tannoy SFX 5.1 speakers
Xbox 360 Elite (UK)
Onkyo TX-SR507 receiver
Pioneer DV-400V DVD player (multiregion)
Oppo BDP-80 Blu-ray player (multiregion)
PS3 (US 60GB)
Below are my games, minus a few in my 'to finish' pile next to the TV (currently BioShock, BioShock 2 and Assassin's Creed II). Couldn't get them all into one shot.
And my films. Starting in the top left they're all Blu-rays down to the BSG box set, and then all the rest are DVDs.
My new flat's got more room so I can space things out a bit more and have some of the older stuff available. Looking forward to putting that together, although the mass of cables that I'm going to have to untangle in moving that lot fills me with dread.
