I'm on 3.40 OE, would I be able to go straight this this new M33 when it's released or do I have to mess around going to previous M33 versions etc.

    Sorted

Just upgraded from 3.52 M33 to 3.71 M33-4 and it was a real faff. After figuring out how to do the upgrade I then need to add a seperate 1.50 update and 3 further 3.71 M33 updates.....took flippin' ages!!!
After installing 3.71 M33, you can install M33-4 directly, there's no need to install 2 & 3 previously.

PSP Updates is saying that it's been delayed for a bit due to technical problems. Whether they've found a glitch with the actual firmware or it's just the website (it's been on and off for the last few hours), who knows?

Has anybody check to see if it's available yet? I know that a coupel of places were reporting a possible delay.

Can't check myself as I'm in work.

Still delayed by the looks of it.

              Ah right.

I thought that was the case when I upgraded to 3.52 a while back but the step-by-step 3.71 guide I was following said to apply them sequentially.

Guess its a thing of the past now anyway

Is this for both versions of the PSP?

What version do you have to update to/from to update to that custom one?

                      From 3.52 M33-3 or higher

Would assume so as I use 3.71 M33-4 on my Slim/Lite.

Guess I'm screwed then, new to the homebrew stuff and I'm on 3.80 official.

I was on 3.80 official until I bought a Pandora battery last week

I have a habit of bricking my PSPs so it seemed like a good investment for me.

                              A what battery Chris?

I'm probably not the best person to advise, but it's basically a battery that boots your PSP in debug mode, and then lets you load on any firmware (even if the PSP itself is bricked).

You can make them using the fat PSPs but they have to have a hokey firmware on already in order to use the Pandora Battery creator (I think its called Pandora Loader 3.0?). Alternatively do what I did and buy one off ebid/ebay (seemed cheaper on ebid).
