This item for sale is a pre-order of a XBOX 360 Japanese videogame,"Death Smiles Limited Edition ("Namiki Selection Death Smiles Arranged Sound Track"OST CD and full voice DLC card are included in the package)",made by Cave,in new sealed condition.

Anyone know any more about this? First I've heard on the topic, wondering if it's something that can be expected with all orders of this.

It'd be worth checking your Play Asia account Nick...my LE has shipped & was order number 13051265 I'd guess if you were allocated one it would have been shipped as well.

According to peeps on Shmups the DLC content for Full Voice is actually included in the Standard Edition as well.
The LE only has the arrange CD & Different cover as extra's (think there's an artbook as well but cant remember)

My order is in a weird state of limbo.

Firstly, I'm gutted because I placed my original pre-order late last year when the limited edition was first announced and the release date was expected months ago. However, being short of money after Christmas and with the expected release date loming I cancelled, not feeling I could afford the expense of a game I couldn't even play due to only having a PAL 360 (I do plan to hop on the JP 360 bandwagon as soon as I can).

However, when the release date was put back, and money had recovered I placed a second pre-order. Unfortunately this order number was beyond the ones stated would be guaranteed the shipment.

Now, the order status is "On Hold", I've had no shipping confirmation, I cannot cancel it, and it says expected shipping date 24th April.

So confused.

That sounds very similair to what they did with mine in putting it "on Hold" before preparing the order then shipping it.

Could be a case that they are allocating all early pre-orders then re-assessing the amount left over for later pre-order's so you could still be getting one

If you see "preparing order" PA has you copy reserved for you and will ship it soon, shortly after you receive the invoice.
"on hold" probably means they got hold of some copies of the game and they will receive it today or tomorrow, but they don't know if they'll get enough.
It would be better to ask them, but I originally was outside the confirmed preorder number and got the game anyway.
Maybe Cave realized that many people were asking for the LE and cranked up printing numbers a bit.

I've emailed them and they responded saying the chances of me getting the game was "very low" and asked if I'd like to change to regular edition.

Think I'll cancel and go on an overpriced Ebay hunt.

Is your order still on Hold Nick???

If it's showing as Ordered/Backordered then there should be an option to change payment menthod.

If not then I'm afraid it is only at the inital order stage.

I knew my card was due to expire before this was released so made sure I amended my order a couple of months back...no money taken from my Abbey account yet though & still it was shipped today

Apparantly it's to enable speech throughout the game for all characters & story mode from what I gather.

I guess it will come as pay for DLC at some point because I cant see those people without it in later releases being too happy without it.

But I've asked the Question on Shmups as to what exactly it does
