So is anyone actually speaking (using voice) on it at the mo??? - I really want to as it seems weird without it after playing halo 2 on Live - but i dont wanna be the first loser to do so

Well tried playing a few games tonight - sorry to say this game is as flawed as ever when you've got wanker spawn point campers. It was impossible to even get into a vehicle when someone is just waiting in a helicopter at the spawn points.
With more people on the server it would be different or a limited god time, with the 5 players on it was just pants tbh.Last edited by MartyG; 17-06-2005, 18:50.Comment

How can we get more people in the server? I've tried doing a manual search in the server list, however this one doesn't show. Only way to connect it seems is to know the IP.

Marty, you are correct that this can be a pain, but getting out of it isn't all that tough. You may need to change class, or even spawn point, but spawn campers aren't that much of a bother.
I'm getting pretty good with the choppers now, but still having difficulties with quick landings. My PC is starting to play up too so the the game is getting very choppy when flying, eventually causing a crash (either of helicopter or PC). Hmm.Comment

Just had a decent game on the NTSC server, and with just 2 people playing!
Seems the stutters and pauses go away mostly after a game or two, making the helicopters so much more useable. Getting pretty good at quick landings now!Comment

I tried playing this again tonight, and what do you get? Spawn point sniper campers. I died 5 times in a row after moving no more than a metre. I go to a LAN party every couple of months which is enjoyable because you don't get wankers - sadly it seems BF2 is full of them. I won't be buying this game.Comment

you need to join a squad then you can spawn at yhour squad leaders point which moves...Comment

Just logged on to find it full of random peeps.
One problem though, need to set it up to kick people with high pings, as it was laggy as hell with some people with pings over 300 on there and many with over 100.
