Ok, after hitting a good party and actually leveling up, this has gone from frustrating to fantastically good.

If ever there's been a game that's played with me so much, it's this.

sometimes I hate it, sometimes, when it works, it's amazingly fun.

Right now, it's damn fun.

At the moment, i'm taking a break from leveling and getting some my rank and fame up.

There's a Bastok Markets quest with a reward being a Level 12 Linen Robe. To save me having to shell out for the money for it, i'm gonna work my way up to questing for it.

I'm also trying to get my staff skill up as i've just bought a Legionnaire's Staff to help with the HP and MP during parties, which means i'm gonna have to bash at some weaklings for a while.

The rank 2 mission will also earn me 1000gil. That should give me enough money to shell out for the rest of my Lv. 10+ equipment, aswell as donate to the NTSC-UK Linkshell fund.

This game isn't crap at all. The n00bs in the dunes still are though.

I hit level 7 last night (and managed to afford 3 of the Leather Armour pieces) but I?m finding it harder to level a job from 1-10 than I would on my ?proper? server. The sheer numbers of new players levelling in Gustaberg is astounding and it?s not uncommon to go a few minutes without seeing a monster to kill.

Combined with spending time with my main retail character means I?m going a lot slower than other people which is a shame. I?ll put in a good session tonight and see what I can get up to.

Im at lvl 7 too (red mage with crummy stone and dia), if anyone else fancies a lvl 7 get together today i'm up for it

I'll be at the Dunes from 7pm onwards tonight. Not hanging around a desert doing this forever though. I'll be waiting by the windmills killing sheep until we form a party of at least 5. (I wish I had a handicapped brother that could just sit at home whilst I'm at work lvl.ing up all day )

Is it safe to try the Palborough Mines mission on solo at WAR lvl.13? What do I do? Just kill the Quadavs until they drop their limbs?

Walked up though the Marshlands yesterday just trying to run as far north as I could. Got bummed by three proper hard goblins all at once when thinking there would be refuge at the derelict outpost. I love it how there are no boundries to the game, a lvl.1 could make it up there if they were crazy/sneaky enough. I remember no even being able to make it 1/2 way through Gustaberg at lvl.1

When you guys get to 14/15 go to Korrollea Tunnel(not sure on the spelling) and start fighting Worms for very easy Experiance, untill you hit 18. The tunnel can be found by passing through the Mines in Bastok and through the Gates(talk to the npc to pass), over the bridge and and short walk to the zone line, the worms are first thing you'll see and located at both ends of the tunnel steps.

lower leveled Qud's drop Gold looking Fetich parts your looking for(legs,arms,body) that you trade in for that mission.

where is the dangruf wadi that featues in Bastok mission 2 please?

Dangruf Wadi is located at the most south-western point of the map in South Gustaberg (near to the Fumaroles).
