Really struggling to decide how to RDM grp 2 merits, and it seems to boil down to peoples play style. Para2 is suppose to be **** from what i've read though. It's either;
Slow2: 5/5, Bio3: 5/5.
Slow2: 5/5, Bio3: 4/5, Phala2: 1/5
Slow2: 5/5, Phala2: 4/5, Bio:3 1/5

You get the idea.

Apart from the rewards is the any point in me picking up the 2 new mini addons? Is there any replay value like there was in ACP? Dont want to pick them up if they are going to be hard work getting people to do them.

Also whats this new addon ive just seen Vision of abyssea? Just more quests etc?

I think Abyssea is a battlefield add-on. I think it will be something Limbus. They actually updated the webpage for the first expansion today.

The update has been confirmed with June 21st as well.

So yes thanks to Tobal and Dj for helping me and Rep clear our final First Lieutenant Assault and picked up Captain rank (two weeks before the update too). Was unbelievably straightforward compared to our first attempt a week or so back where a decked out Aegis PLD couldn't follow a simple instruction and took a beating.

I actually really enjoyed trying that WotG mission. Interesting that they changed it but for the best I think. i wasn't too impressed with how we exploited it on our clear so it was good to beat it properly. We very nearly had it on the first attempt. I was so close to 100TP and had he choose a single target spell rather than Firaga III a Blade: Jin would have finished it.

With Captain now obtained I want to make a start on Campaign Ops. Before I do this I want to be affiliated to San d'Oria in Campaign. I'm 20k Allied Notes short for the final piece of Fourth Division gear (the body) so will work on that first then switch over.

Yeah i got up only at 4% only to get eaten up again by a -GA (Joy!) Would have been able to knock off that last 1%!!!!! My bad really, some of my macros messed up and lack of me getting myself in a good position. FF Basics come on darren!!!

Any advice about the next 2 upoming fights?

1 seems to be planting explosives and the other it seems you can just heal the NPC for the win. (Seems whm/sch can solo)

Think I answered this last night but just to go over it again.

The problem with this is that you’ll have a Ninjutsu skill of a level 40 NIN and as a result will suffer from accuracy issues in actually landing the spell for full potency. I’m not sure where you got the idea that they always land at full damage but they are simply nukes but can resisted just like any other magic spell. I think they have a base damage of around 100HP which can be boosted with INT and Magic Atk. Bonus.

Even a NIN75 subbing BLM or RDM struggles to get decent damage out of them so I'm not really sure how a RDM would. I presume you feel the benefit of this over regular nukes would be they wouldn't cost MP?

I guess the resistance-30 effect on spell could be handy in lowering any potential resists but if that was necessary, RDM would be doing that already with the Ichi spells which have the same resistance -30 on them (this cannot be resisted which may be what you are thinking of).

Turns out I already did the intermediate teamwork quest on Daragon which must have been years ago as I don't remember doing it, so I'm going to have to go with my lolelvaan fish mule as I'm sure as hell not paying 150k for the damn Mage's Ballad scroll.

People have already been exporting the DATs from the preliminary update that occurred today.

Some new armour and weapons identified (no stats, just the models so far) as well as new job abilities.
