Have the groups already been arranged?

I was wondering something about this myself because...

I know there is no problem going thorugh the zone with as many LS people as want to come but as we know only 6 can do the BCNM. Asuming that the first 6 are sucessful will they be transferred out of the zone? If this is the case there will likely need to be 6 in the second group for any chance of winning... So what i'm getting at is do we need exactly 6, 12 (or 18!) people to so this?

Again sorry to chip, but I had a friend speak to me about this in the early COP days.

The Burning Circle acts like all other in the game. If you enter the battle and fail, your corpses are dumped outside in the exact same area that you entered. However, if you succeed you exit the in a completely different area (I think he said it was the Hall of Transference).

So if you go with an ?odd? (in terms of complete parties) number of people, with the intention of reforming the parties to help the other people who were left over after the first battle, then the original 6 will have to make there way back up to the Burning Circle to meet up with those that are waiting.

Unfortunately, I can?t confirm any of this firsthand.

we all go to the top which would be easier for the memories, until the last floor they we should split our teams at the teleporter there, team 1 takes the Boss(much easy to get to around the last floor with a 6 man team) while the those that are left behind make there way back to the 1st floor to wait on the 1st team, then everyone goes up again.

I don't mind which team im in 1st or 2nd (or 3/4th if we mess up ^^)

Asuming we don't have 12 people then I'm guessing that option 2 would be the best (from a possible sucess point of view) as it will make the memories much easier. Team 2 could then do some farming for futher recolections and fragments on level 1 (these go between 500-1k gil at AH). Obviously this will work best if the team going down can do so with little or no agro!

One thing that may be useful is to take a extra person (with Raise) up to the top. They could wait outside BC and raise the team doing the BCNM if things go badly wrong - meaning a quickish second attempt...

Of course, there may be some time issues here...

So, 12 people would make the job a whole lot easier!

I would asume you can add Mahlory, Hicory and Tsingtao to that. Definate no-no's are Rare (no 30 gear) and Apathe (no COP)... Not sure about Daragon.

We could always ask some non-ls / part time ls people if they want to come (Bayan / Tox etc?)

Most of my current use THF gear fits in nicely within the lvl 30 limit

I think we can add Cesarion to the list so healy mage wise it looks like 1 x WHM and 2 x RDM. I wonder if Ces can sub WHM? I have only got BLM level'd for sub i'm afraid.

I also have a 30 whm, but I am ONLY using it as a very last resort. Recently sold a good deal of expensive whm items to fund my thf, and I'd rather not take any risks with an ever changing economy in buying them back again.

So If Cesarion is joining us, and Hicory is a white mage.. then we only need one more person to have two full parties each with it's own healer? That would cut out any need for a partial party... erm.. marching all the way to the top of the hill to go marching down again!

That's a whole lot more NIN related action than Rargh has got ^^ I'm sure your right that this is the best and easiest way to beat it, but this being a LS outing means we are having to make the best of what we have. I think there are a number of people bringing Hysteroanima which should help.
