Final Fantasy XI Then...

With all the amusing music talk on the LS the other night I was wondering what kind of music / bands everyone listens to. Me, well i've always been into Rock/Metal although I do listen to a whole variety. I am of course also a huge fan of the Final Fantasy music Bands I listen to include:

Blind Guardian
Freedom Call
Rhapsody
Sonata Arctica
Dragonforce
Demons & Wizards (cracking new album out this week!)
Helloween

and some of the classic 80's metal bands such as Skid Row, Motley Crue, Guns n Roses etc...

and a special mention to ICE-T's metal band 'Body Count'. I want another album and another UK tour!!!

Im a Soundtrack guy mostly, although I do have alot of Barry White cd's, I enjoy any type of music but must say I have shown no interest in just about all chart music for about 10 years now, I think the last band I thought was good was Space, they had a good album called Spiders.

Followed by The Big One quest.

What do you think, anyone interested.

Requirements would be level 30 job for ENM and level 40 job for the Quest with completed promyvions.

Well a quite rewarding weekends play all in all. Managed to get maps to the Kuftal Tunnel and Quicksand Caves. Raised my Alchemy to 60 at last (time to make so money finally) and my bonecrafting to 7. Other than that it was just a littl ENM with wedge to bring me within 3k of 55.

So Wedge did you ever do that ENM Mea at the weekend or do you fancy a crack tonight? I'm going to be on from around 7 (maybe a little earlier).

Talizker and Darwock I'm up for another run at the BCNM 50 (Eye of the Tiger) if you guys are good for a try. Think we were close last time and with a bit more MP conservation and a few extra meds we'll be there I think.

Ready and waiting for this Not been on since Friday as i've been getting my head round some CSS stuff for the company web site - finally sorted at 2am this morning!

Its the official opening day of our company, Heating Support Limited, today (even though we've been trading for the last couple of weeks) so will be well up for a bit of FFXI relief tonight.

An average day for me yesterday. Decided on putting bst on hold yet again, just after getting my af axe - I seem to have problems soloing the exp after duoing for so long. Going back to my blm, I got in a so-so party in crawler's nest, starting off with knight crawlers before escaping after some idiot picked up aggro from a crawler hunter scorpion at the same time <.< to taking on helm beetles, which we managed to get a successful chain going, right up until the point when our range picked up 3 beetles rather than one. Cue the escape spell, sadly our moron of a pld didn't have a sword on him, so he spent ever fight prior using a lightstaff that he clearly wasn't very skilled in >< In the middle of the spell I somehow manage to get hate from 2 of the beetles and die just as the spell goes off
The party didn't last much longer after that, after I waved goodbye to our pld, persuading him to go get a sword from somewhere before sending him home to San'Doria - moron said his home point was Jeuno.

The evening began with a BCNM 40 - "The Worm's Turn" as usual. First round sadly was a complete and utter disaster. After losing our first rng seconds into the fight, we had suddenly lost all hope of winning so in true fashion, our leader wants us to go down fighting >< thinking we still had a chance to win. It wasn't long before 4 of the remaining 5 of us (myself included) were sucked to our dooms, triggering a second loss of 900 xp I never did realise you could be sucked in from right at the back, stood ontop of the circle preparing to escape. Anyway, to cut a long story short, I got in another CN party and am now 3k off lvl 53

I've had a ranger drop dead in "the worm's turn" as well, but on that occasion the whm got him raised immediately and he was back fighting before the end, without any break whatsoever.

I did ENM MEA afterwards, it didn't go well, about 3 or 4 deaths on the way up and a total wipe on the boss within about 1 minute.

Im not sure if I can do it again as I lost but I would be up for ENM HOLLA and would go as white mage if you're up for it.

I'm up for taking a shot at it, I'll be on around 19:00 be good if we could get some reliable types from the LS to join us to avoid any idiot out breaks on the way up there. For holla though we could use a more ideal set up, rangers would be nice and Mr Darwock and his SMN could come in handy if he's not up to much?

I would say 2 rangers would be a big help in getting up Holla though, I know the place like the back of my hand but still we're going to have to fight in there for sure. If we can get that then we can pack with any other DD we like and we'll be cool, I will take anima for this one though just in case.

Sure, I can do that if you like. I'll need to buy hi-ethers for full potential, even though an ENM probably doesn't need that much firepower - any left overs could come in useful later I guess ^^

P.S. I also have a hysteroanima taking up valuable space in my MH that I could bring, Based on numbers I don't think I'll be called upon for the upcoming Promyvion attempts so may as well use it on this.

Do you know if the ENM does AoE sleep still in this one?

May prove expensive if we need 3 - 4 poison potions each...

I can bring a Terro anima which is the one that makes it run around the room, if im correct its good for this Boss.

I have not done Holla ENM but I would say expect it to do everything it normally does.

I would think two poison potions each would be enough.
