this is cool saturn is proably just a little more rare than the derby stallion - which to be fair they're the same just with a 'this is cool' logo

if you get a skeleton saturn they are weird - when the disc spins they are hypnotic, almost wonderful

end up playing nothing and watching the disc spin

Derby Stallion seems to be there rarer one, and its blue, not black, so not exactly the same

As for VGI. Good company, and very good at finding exactly what you want.

my derby cost me ?61 from ebay - fully boxed, if i remember right

probably why i thought it was the not so rare one

but they still are quite similar

The R7 disk is only a repackaged dream passport cd so you havent missed much, Did you get the little box of free gifts with it? (it includes a messager thumb piece, a keyring, some toothpicks and some other random lovelies) Anyway glad your happy, the R7 is a beautifal console.

I picked up the R7 console boxed with everything (quite a bargain too) a few weeks ago.

What the hell is that little silver/metal thingy? Some kind of Keyring?

If you believe the figures floating around, 50,000 skeletons made, 20,000 derbys. That said, in my experience, I've seen more nice minty derbys for sale than skeletons, 2:1 at least, maybe 3

from what I heard there were two different packages - one with black BBA and the other one with black modem... you can get black BBA though it won't be cheap nor easy to find - took me a loooong time to source mine...

I guess I couldn't do much with the BBA, unless Dreameye worked and I could still email them off to say, my GMAIL...

Got quite a few nice items today for the Mega Drive, Saturn and Dreamcast.

First up are the Sakura Taisen 2 & 3 limited box sets, plus some other stuff.


Next up are 10 Mega Drive games for 5 pound (1000 yen). I actually don't want Strider or Puyo Puyo because the instruction books for both of them are in pretty ****ty condition.

Last retro goodies for the year, and maybe a while given the 360 and ps3/rev to come in 2006, and the fact I am starting to hanker for some ds/psp action at last. (Gonna be a pricey year for current gen is 2006)

A nice boxed marty 2, and a few games. Been wanting to play raiden for a while and it doesn't disappoint.

And some vids to watch later on. One has footage of Ninja Gaiden md (but emulated)
