I had a great day on friday. Picked up devil dice for ?5, bomberman world for ?1.50, among others not so bargainous. Also picked up ICO for ?15 and Final Fantasy IX for ?10 but both of those have gone on ebay.

Yakumo, how much did you get Phantasy Star for. There have been loads on ebay over here recently. I got outbid on one which went for ?28. I'd really love a copy just for the nostalgia as Phantasy Star was the first RPG I ever played (not the MD version I must add).

Yeah, I belive there's a Taiwanese guy in the UK selling many copies of Phantasy Star for Mega Drive. In Japan it's still quite an expensive title. No where near as expensive as some of the more rarer games but still quite a lot. You'd be better going for one of Ebay at the moment concidering the postage costs and stuff from Japan.

I have watched the prices in the UK over the last couple of years and the variation is amazing. they regularly swing from ?25 to ?100 for identical copies.

Not particulary unusual finds, but quite happy with these:

Outrun : Original Jap Gamegear release, absolutely mint. Only cost me a pint

Streets of Rage : Mastersystem PAL Version. ?3 odd inc postage, again mint. Shame it wasn't a US version as I believe it was rental only there.

PAL Master System II, No pads no leads, no adapter x 2 ?1 each (Boot sale)

A week later found another boot sale selling a box full of joypads & other misc controllers which happened to contain a handful of MS pads and a rapid fire unit amongst other things. Paid ?4 for the box

PAL Pikachu N64, No pads but power cable and AV Lead present, ?2 (Boot Sale)

Also bought 8 NES pads @ 99p each from Gamestation last week, along with a master system control stick (official sega) for ?3.50.

Wacky Races PAL, Soul Fighter USA, Gunbird 2, Virtual ON Oratorio Tangram, KOF Dream Match 99 and The Lost Golem, all Jap. The last one I have no idea on what is, but the screenshots made me curious...

I love those Neo Geo cart covers. Very nice indeed.

Picked up Street Fighter Zero 2, Ridge Racer 4 and Parraper the Rapper for a fiver yesterday as I rekindle my love for the PSone.

Also picked up Puzzle Bobble 4 & Sega Tetris to add to my DC collection. These two set me back around ?8 which i thought was a little expensive but the money was burning a hole in my pocket so...
Still looking to get Wacky Races though. I saw an American NTSC version ?15!!, but i'm holding out for the Pal one.

I thought it was a really underrated game tbh.

Btw, does anyone know if Die Hard Trilogy was given a Jp release on the PSone?

I'm pretty sure the PSX got Die hard Trilogy in Japan. I know the Saturn did.

Yes it did get a Playstation release, you'll have to get your butt into gear and do some decent searching. ;P

Anyway it was released by Electronic Arts in 13th Dec 1996 and the catalogue number is SLPS-00585 it didn't get a re-release (thankfully...)

Won Super Parodius and Bomberman 2 for SNES in auction yesterday. Also recieved copy of UN Squadron which I had bought a few weeks earlier. Great shooter - had forgotten how good it really is.

Don't remember ever playing Parodius but have heard about how good it is so look forward to that. Bomberman is strictly for when the lager is flowing and a few mates are over.
