Geometry isn't amazing on this one, but it is not bad enough to be distracting. Was fun carrying it up to my loft though - weighs quite a bit and is fairly bulky.

A fantastic set, but a pig to get the geometry right, due to the screen size
It weighs a ton too; make sure you get help if lifting it.
Its the perfect retro set, RGB ouput is the best i have ever seenLast edited by dvdx2; 05-10-2012, 16:16.

I used to have that exact same TV, it is perfect for retro. RGB scart and S-Video and just an amazing picture with great sound quality. When you go back to a TV like that after a modern LCD it's amazing how good the colours are.

That said, it is still a great TV.

Are you putting an rgb source through, after going into the service menu?

I think so. It was a couple of weeks ago since I tried it but I'm sure I had a RGB source active before entering service mode. Maybe I need to de-activate it (power off the console) then re-activate it once in service mode?
One of my main issues with the picture is a slight hour-glass shape to the image. Do you know which control I should use to correct this? I will post a picture of the service menu shortly.
