I've never seen the big deal about SoR II, personally i've always thought that series of games is quite boring...

Theres nothing wrong with those games, they are great, but they aren't Monaco GP, Gran Turismo, Forza etc.
You're right , thought the Snes did have F-Zero and it didn't really get much better than that , though Super Hang On was just mighty back in its day (for me) .

But after the Snes , Nintendo consoles have just been sh8t for racers

        N64 - Excite Bike 64,waverace,mario kart 64,f-zero x,diddy kong etc?

Excite Bike 64 and Mario 64 were great I can't argue with that , more so I'm one of the ones that thinks Mario Kart 64 is the best inthe series, the rest forget it , Much better racers on other consoles , and you're just stuffed if you want a serious racer on a NCL console

Personally I think F-Zero X was a better sequal than what mario kart 64 ever was. You don't like Wave race?

Wave Race 64 was a true gem , shame about the Cube version . But I've never seen them as a Traditional racer . That's been a real weak point for Nintendo consoles , and the total lack of a traditional serious racers, much like the X-Box and 360 have real weak points when it comes to platform games

Yeah very true. It's handy were all grown up and rich now though to afford all the console's

Or you just go with out , like I did with the DC and its total and utter lack of any Decent Football game

Wave Race 64 is still an excellent experience. It's my most played game on my U.S. Wii.

You are right, the N64 & GC, never had a good serious racer. It's one of the main things people criticised the machines for. The 64 especially, only had a few dodgy arcade racers, and Ridge Racer came too late, and was poor imo.
At least F-ZeroX was great; still is nice.

I bought a game called Sega Worldwide Soccer Euro2000 when it came out, and I really loved it.

I had the demo, played it a lot with my mates, and then bought the full game which my friends and brother couldn't stop playing. The fact that some of them don't even like football, proved how good the game was.

I feel like playing it again, to see if it's as playable as I remember.

Haha I still have it ... its ok, but after what SD did with WLS 98 onthe Saturn it was a huge letdown , and it looked like sh8t too . SEGA really should have let the team use the Virtual Striker engine. I got both the Worldwide Soccer games for the DC and have to say the animation in both was horrid , they looked like hunchbacks, but hey you could also play as women

Aye the N64 version is a bloody classic , I hate the Cube version though

The SNES version is pretty cack though compared to the Mega Drive one.

Really!? I thought the conversion was pretty turd - remember it getting awful reviews as well.

Compared to the greatness of the arcade version, the home ones were abysmal all round, real weedy looking, played ok still tho i guess.
