I don't think I've even heard of that one. Sounds good though. I really need to give my Saturn some more love.

Another new megadrive game , there's a link to the demo on there as well , if you like run and gun combined with Metroid and the intro is rather nifty to.

This looks interesting, and I really like the cover(s)! Not familiar with their other games, have you (or anyone else!) got any idea of their track record around delivering? I see they have another MD game that looks a lot like Mercs...

Yes , they have a good track record. Last megadrive game was delayed by a few weeks but all came through. There last game Metal Dragon is indeed a Mercs clone but the story is written by a 12 year old ie childish jokes and swearing which detract from the actual good gameplay. There's a link at the site for a demo off that game to try, here it is...

I'm still working my way through this but for anyone who cares about Sega or Arcades should give this a watch. It's a fantastic 4 hour documentary about Virtua Cop and its Sega Saturn port, not only poriung over the game but talks to some of the original port team and some of their revelations...

For anyone (Like me) who's said something to the effect of 'But the Saturn ports of AM2's games were handled in-house by their original masters, no wonder they're so good' will step back in shock by what some of the team says in this! A little nugget was one of the main team members had never programmed before and AM2 just shoved these young guys into the building and said port it!

A stunning in-depth look. I've not heard of the YouTube creator before, but have subbed!

Looks like the sharp X68000 might be the next hardware to get a mini

Cool! I fired up the mister core for this the other days but it has problems like only supporting 2 joystick buttons so I’m gonna hold fire I think. On messing around with mister I mean.

Bizarre choice of mini console. How many even know of it apart from us?

Well in japan plenty will know this however i'm not sure this will ever leave japan, even in mini's this one is one of the more niche ones to say the least. Not even sure if it'll surface into an actual relase or not.

Over on the PAL-JP forum, they're saying the same things about the A500 Mini

Just saw this amazing fan effort to recreate the Johto and Kanto regions in Pokemon.

Kanto Redrawn is a collaborative art project by a group of passionate pixel artists from across the world.

I assume that's in-between those bouts of asking which one of them is hardcore enough to import an Xbox

Frantic flamewars over how to force PAL 50hz on an NTSC TV to play Wipeout 2097 at the correct speed.

Not sure anyone besides me here cares but the new Wingman is available for pre-order at 8BitMods currently. Placed an order so I can use my Qanba Obsidian and DualSense on my PS1/PS2.

Wingman PS2 supports PS2/PS/PS Classic consoles, with an appearance that complements the design of PS2 memory card. A feeling of nostalgia will gradually emerge. It supports more than 125 kinds of controllers in wireless or wired mode, including PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox Elite 2, Xbox 360, Switch Pro controller and more.

That's a really cool gadget. The lack of wireless pads for the PS2 is such a bummer.
