todays episode was great, really nice to see the proper island again.

desmond is a great character, but i'd really like to see a bit more of what penny is up to now, as it looked like she was searching for him before. in fact i wouldnt be surprised if the cliffhanger at the end of this series is her turning up on some kind of rescue mission.

an absolute mental episode, but not as much content as i'd of expected. Still cleared that particular subject and destroyed my brain for 45 mins

BTW did anyone else notice the London scenes looked incredibly 'mocked up' (some might say 'mockney')? There was definitely some computer giggery-pokery going on there, and what was with the red phone box in every scene? I can imagine the producers sat round a table saying "We don't have the cash to go film on location so what can we do to make the streets of a US city look like London? I know! We'll put a red phone box, black cab, double decker bus and some mockney yank in every scene!"

LOL, yeah - agreed on London. Don't forget the Underground signs! (always make me laugh in Doctor Who, in Cardiff)

Great episode, and it looks as though Desmond has lived through it all before. Rifts in time, as well as space now it seems. Just hope the explanation the writers have in mind is satisfying...

Wonder how long we have to wait before we see Kate and Sawyer arrive back on the island!

This episode seemed very out of place for me. It almost felt like a spin off, it didn't add an awful lot that we didn't already know

I enjoyed it, and Desmond is an excellent character. Nice to have a break from the Sawyer/Jack/Kate/Others stuff too. Now we just need some proper Locke action.

Also nice that 720p torrents are easily available now and the 360 is ever so happy to stream them. Wonderful stuff.

Oh and nice cliff hanger at the end too. Can't say I'll be sad to see him go, and I hope it's nice and messy!

Well it's mostly shot in Hawaii. It's pretty funny how they feel the need to stick British flags everywhere as well as the usual underground signs etc. I'm surprised they didn't have a buckingham palace guard standing in the background too.

i jus luv charlies british-ism, like when he helped desmond to his tent cos he was drunk, he claimed desmond was 'wankered' lol........ funny how stuff someone says brings yah right back home, even if you are on a desert island.

That's one hell of a direction for the show to take though, the ramifications of that are huge, so it'll be interesting to see what happens next and how committed they are to this storyline.

I'm not sure they really have a grand plan for Lost. I often get the feeling they're just making it up as they go along.

The writers have stated that they know exactly what is gonna happen on the island over the 5 seasons.

dont worry, i know the storyline for the next few episodes, its gonna get very very good!

I know they made Ben into a much bigger character than they originally planned as he was popular.

They've also had cast trouble and had to kill people off quickly to get rid of them, such as Mr.Ecko and Michelle Rodriguez.

Far too many questions with little or no answers for them to have any real grand plan for me.
