I watched the first couple of minutes of TF2, despite everybody warning against it.
As soon as I saw Optimus, I remembered that all the robots look the same - i.e. somebody shaking a close-up photo of the back of a rag and bone man's truck in your confused and headachey face.

    Gave up.

Worst part is that the original plan was to reboot the entire franchise after this film and redo the Resi 1 mansion storyline closer to the games. Then 3D came along and they're moving forwards with a 5th film in this series based on the tech selling it... yep, that's what Avatar did.

As for the girl asking about the plane taking them, I can let that go... I know a few people that thick so it's not too unrealistic
For me the third film was the best, it was actualy quite well made in places compared to the others, but thats not really saying much as the other films have been complete train wrecks. it was the only one that has featured any decent action scenes and it had better pacing overall.

3 still wasnt that great a film, but unlike the rest of the series it actualy seemed to know this and was quite fun in its own knowingly daft kind of way.

I really didnt think they could make one that was as bad as the second film though so it wasnt that suprising. That in turn shows how shockingly bad this forth installment is really, becuase its even worse than the second one.

Yeah, I actually quite liked the third film - only a 2 star movie, but far superior to the others. I enjoyed the new locale. I was going to see the fourth, but if it's that bad I may skip it. I've a Cineworld Unlimited pass, but as it's 3D it would still cost £1.50....

Aww man you really should watch it from start to finish as it gives an amazing build up to what its all about. Sure there are slow mo scenes of Dafoes cock entering Gainsborough but theres nothing wrong with marvelling in amazement at that tallywhacker (guaranteed its all prosthetic btw). And sure later on theres some pretty gruesome scenes involving a rusty scissors, a lump of wood, a man jizzing blood & hand drill & a lathe wheel but its all good entertainment .
Von Trier bases a lot of it on his own recent battle with depression.

If you think this is crazy then u should check out another film he made called 'The Idiots'. Absolutely mental & includes real penetration!!

I hate Lars Von Trier, i think all his movies are pretentious boring drivel and Anti-Christ is no exception. Meh, the man makes me rage.

The Kingdom is a fantastic series. Great acting & really dirty & gruesome looking, & much better than the crap that was Stephen King's overly polished remake 'Kingdom Hospital'. Thought Dogville was fantastic, but Manderlay kinda lost it a little. Still waiting for the third film in this trilogy to be made hopefully without Ron Howards wooden daughter as the main character this time.

Independence Day - what a load of USA supremacy ****e! Started watching it then realised why I hated it back when it 1st came out.
I now also realise where my dislike for Will Smith started as he seems to have played the same character for almost all of his career.
I see that The Day After Tomorrow & 2012 were made by the same director too. Isnt it about time he tried doing something different as opposed to churning out the same lazy disaster story crap?

Whats Love Got To Do With It? - brilliant film, & Fishburne played Ike amazingly by coming across as a smoothy 1 minute then a controlling maniac the next, & always keeping everyone guessing as to whether he was gonna blow or not.

I watched Cyrus yesterday. Nice enough little flick. Instantly forgettable, yet I'd of said it's worth seeing.

Also watched Dinner for Schmucks last week. Significantly better than I thought it would be, had some great moments, worth seeing as well. Much broader humour than Cyrus.

Not an expert on Lars by any means but I have read and heard that all this his stuff about him being depressed is lies. He thinks of himself as a prankster and likes to mess with people's heads. I wouldn't believe a single thing he says to be honest.
Watched District 9 last night, really enjoyed it but it made me angry so I guess it did it's job. The main bloke made several really stupid choices and I wanted to slap him. Loved the film though and for once I would love a sequel.

                        Watched The Station Agent.

Forgot I'd seen it before but it's still a very nice mellow film.

Got round to watching Sherlock Holmes last night and loved it. I am big fan of Downey JR. I liked it more than our lass, but I was drunk when watched it. Shame about the dodgy CGI bits at the end. Tower Bridge looked rubbish.

Watched going the distance and it was really enjoyable

Some of the dialogue is really funny and hearing drew say things like just shut up and lick was brilliant

Watched the other guys today and it was good, just expected it to be excellent

Just started to watch G.I Joe on Blu.

It seems to be one of those "seemed like a good idea at the time" movies. I'm 20 minutes in and the SFX have gone from amazing to run-out-of-money bad.

Eccleston's Scottish accent is almost as bad as Connery's Spanish accent in Highlander!!

I'm not sure I'll be able to finish it.

EDIT: Why, in Japan, does the kid speak Korean?

EDIT: Why does Eccleston character live in Rapture?

EDIT: Figured out where the budget went Jonathan Pryce as the President.
