In the original television series, they could fly, but only when it was convenient for the artists...

Yeah I think it was pretty inconsistent with regards to writing, but they could always fly.

Wow so many things I didn't know about Transformers!

Black Swan - I really liked the Fountain, but I found this movie tedious. I really wanted to enjoy it, I liked the basic storyline/concept but the movie really, really dragged - snail pace would be apt. The pacing was completely wrong - the slowest, boringest descent into madness ever filmed. Not even the girl on girl action could save this one for me.

Watched War of the Dead last night. Absolutely shocking!

Reading the back of the box I struggled to see how they could go wrong; I like killing zombies, and I like killing Nazi's too! perfect! but the film itself is just a mess. It's not clear why they've been sent to this abandoned base, and the characters don't seem bothered by the fact their comrades are coming back to life trying to kill them. Visually the art direction is alright but that's the only positive. Worst flick I've seen in a long time.

@Finsbury - If you haven't seen Perfect Blue, go watch it now. I'd imagine it is infinitely better (haven't seen BS, but it seems to be a poor copy of this masterpiece). Still no girl on girl action though, unfortunately.

Haven't seen this (nor indeed haven't seen any manga for AGES!) must put this right and track it down. Thks Noobish!

Went on my lunch break at work about 2am-ish and caught Heat on 4+1 at the *very* moment where Pacino meets DeNiro for a coffee, THEN managed to watch the entire heist shootout whilst munching on a huge tiger bread sandwich. What a movie!

Saw it first time around at the cinema, when I was 19/20 or so, really liked it but never really took onboard the complexity/verve of what is an amazing shooty bit section, superbly devised and pretty damn breathtaking. Getting older has some good points, hard work and skill tends to be more easily appreciable.

                  About Senna.

There is a torrent version of this dock which is about 90 mins longer than the one released. You'd think it was all filler but seriously I was surprised some of this stuff got cut. It does effect the pacing and at 3.5 hours it's long but when I watched it, even after watching the original... It flew by. It's quality.

I've never seen Blade Runner. Yes, yes, I know, but I don't care.

Point is I've got the HD-DVD Ultimate thingy and am wondering which version to watch. Final Cut? I was of the understanding that the Final Cut sort of ruins the mystery surrounding whether the main guy is a replicant, or something like that.

Just watch the original version, it's fine.

Being a massive fan of Super Troopers I always watch the other Broken Lizard films hoping they will be as awesome. But they are always terrible so have put off watching their last one til it was very cheap and I was very drunk! Amazon had it at ?2.80 so this weekend was the time....

It was nowhere near as bad as I expected tbh...me and my mate laughed our asses off while the women sat bored! But then that is normal whatever we are saying/doing
Better than Club Dread but not as good as Beerfest. Good to see Cobie Smulders has gone onto better things with the Marvel films too!

                            Quantum of Solace

Still opens with the worst car chase in Bond history. From what I remember it being, it does recover somewhat and isn't as bad as I remember but hopefully it's just a blip in Daniel Craig's entries.

Finally got round to Death Proof. It was nearly as bad as Planet Terror.

I liked Planet Terror, but Death Proof is up there with Kill Bill as one of the worst films made in recent history.

                                I just watched Expendables. Crap!
