    That's a shame about dvdslimited

I use Axel Music http://www.axelmusic.com/ for any US discs as they tend to be pretty well priced (well, until the dollar got stronger) and the service is good. Delivery is normally 4-5 days though, which is fine for me, but maybe not for you.

Really not sure who could get you US discs fast these days, without paying a premium for delivery.

Yeah, they tend to ship when the item is in stock. They re-ship within the UK though to avoid customs charges, so that's gonna affect the delivery time by a day or so I imagine.

I used to use axelmusic before I switched to dvdslimited.
Tried movietyme once a couple of weeks back, items took longer to arrive than an order I placed from Hong Kong the same day, ****e service so I'm going back to axelmusic.

I just use Amazon.com but I'm not looking to get my stuff early, normally waiting 'till they have a sale on to place an order. Shame about DVDslimited though. I used to use them a fair bit a few years ago.

Just watched Bolt (from DVDWorldUSA). A little slow to get started but good stuff! Some of the backgrounds later on are just gorgeous.

Although I do wonder what it would have been like if Chris Sanders was still in charge

Rhino saves Bolt. The rest is fun enough, but fairly middling.

Cheers fir the heads up. Just ordered Blolt, The Princess Bride and Let the Right one in from them

Got the Silence of the lambs the other day. It look miles better than the DVD (MGM) I have, but I can't decide whether it's a 3 or 4 star transfer. It's really soft in places and rather drab, but i'm guessing that's intentional.

Ditto, mine came from Amazon today. I'll pop it in later for a quick look at the picture quality and watch the film whenever I have time. After the excellent job Disney did with Sleeping Beauty I have high hopes

You're both in for a bloody treat, absolutely stunning in HD!!!

I'm as shocked as I was when I first saw Sleeping Beauty on blu-ray, I really am shocked by the restoration. The colours in some scenes are breathtaking and the character that comes through in the art work now puts most animation to shame. It really is hard to believe it's 70 years old.

The only downside to it so far is that they've included some American bint singing a club version of When You Wish Upon a Star!!!

Roll on the Platinum Edition of Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs in six months. I'll definitely be picking up A Bug's Life & Monsters Inc when they are released over the next couple of months too.

Come on Disney, where the hell is Lilo & Stitch? This needs a release very quickly as possible please.

Oh not again Disney - did you not get the hint with Haley Joel Osment's sister butchering Once upon a Dream? Tchaikovsky must surely be turning in his grave quite vigerously, knowing that one of his fine masterpieces has been abused in such a way.

They just released a new DVD version in the US (it's the 2-disc set which has been out in Europe for a while only renamed "Big Wave Edition"). I already have the French DVD, I'm not buying another standard def copy!
