Watched Iron Man, There Will Be Blood and Kung Fu Hustle the other day. Great quality and I could definitely tell the difference over the DVD versions. Iron Man especially benefitted, made it a pleasure to watch them all again.

Does anyone know if the Matrix films are cut on PAL BR (and if what they are) as I have the set on HDDVD USA with the animatrix and dont really want to spend £60 when I can get standard for £30

I've just watched Batman Begins today and enjoyed it immensely. Straight after I watched the Dark Knight prologue that is also on the disc and it looks significantly better in terms of image quality. Does the whole of The Dark Knight look that good?

I've not seen the DVDs for years so it's difficult to compare but I watched about 30 minutes of the first film last night and it was bloody awful in terms of the AV quality!

I found it really blurry at times and it seemed to go out of focus on a couple of occasions as it was so blurry. There really isn't any graduation in a lot of the darker areas, it's just black and there is a lot of just black in this film.

I've not seen it for years but I got bored of it after 30 minutes and switched it off. It's really not aged well and there is just so much wrong with it and it now feels like a film for kids.

I think after recently watching the two Christopher Nolan films and the 1966 original this just can't compare.

I've not watched Batman Returns yet but I'll give it a go over the next few days sometime.

Has anyone got Sin City on BD? I love the movie and would like it on Blu-Ray. Just wondering if they did a decent job with the transfer?

I have Sin City, am no expert on picture quality but have to say it looks rather lovely.

I have no idea what regions are what on bluray. I have a pal ps3 if that helps. If its compatible with that, any idea where i can get it from?

Region A = USA and Canada
Region B = Europe, Australasia, Africa
                                Region C = Russia, China

Your PS3 is locked to Region B. But unlike DVD, a lot of Blu-ray Discs are region free.
