You could be waiting a while for Black Mama White Mama though. I had to go for the DVD. And, bizarrely (and somewhat more seriously), The Amazing Colossal Man has not only not made it to Blu-Ray but still hasn't made it to DVD. Weird. But shows there are films that may well never hit Blu-Ray so, if they do make it to DVD, that will have to do. At least for me.

Well that's a definite yes when it comes to me replacing the Artificial Eye edition then.

      EDIT:
Oh yeah, the link is to screen captures and of them contains boobs. Just letting you know, avoid if needed.

Kick Arse? Is that the British version?
Absolutely! Brit Director, Brit Lead Actor, and they still can't misspell the title

I've had since it came out and still haven't watched it. Is it good? Would it be suitable for my four year old? I might watch it with her if it is.

Its alright, not worth a second watch and some characters you might not have even seen yet.

Has anybody here got it in different packaging?

I know the packaging isn't the most important thing but I'm really not a fan of those budget boxes and avoid them whenever possible.
                About bloody time...

Picked it up as a part of HMV's 2 for ?20 offer, also picked up Lebanon as well as Luhrmann's Moulin Rouge and Romeo & Juliet which is nice as I've not seen any of them before.

I'm a little worried to find that Mesrine: Killer Instinct and Mesrine: Public Enemy Number 1 are running on a single BD50 as I'd always presumed that they were a two disc set.

They have a total running time of 246 minutes and on top of that the disc hosts documentaries and other crap so something has had to give somewhere.

Argh, does anyone know what the differences between this and this are? I *think* the later release (first link) has better audio but I can't find a straight comparison between the two.

Aren't they the same? I thought it was just the packaging that was changed when they released them as a collection. As far as I know the only Harry Potter releases that were changed are the US exclusive Ultimate Editions.

I can't say 100% though so hopefully somebody will be able to confirm this but that's what I understood.

                    EDIT:
I've not been able to find any references to any changes apart from the packaging but it does seem that the Ultimate Editions were also available in some European regions as well as the US.

These version appear to of had improved audio and a couple of them had extended cuts of the films as well as the theatrical cut.

Yeah, I'd heard the later release has the 6.1 track too but I can't find anything for certain. I'm not fussed about extras but I'll always try and get the 'best' audio/video quality version if I can.

Has anyone had the pleasure of watching Arrow's release of Battle Royale yet??

Got my boxset at the weekend & looking forward to a viewing one night this week.

Nice set but wasn't impressed with the audio or video transfer. TBH, Every time i watch BR i feel i like it less and less. Which is why i then sold it.

Having the same problem myself. Unfortunately she's seen it before so I couldn't even pretend it's a romance or something.
