Absolutely, they'll probably be rushing to cash in on him behind the scenes before his disassociation with the show sinks in to viewers minds too much, getting as much merchandise to disgruntled viewers out the door asap

Just to clarify a few facts:
- The producer, Oisin Tymon, had worked on Top Gear for ten years.
- Clarkson was angry because there was no hot food in the hotel they were staying at during filming.
- Clarkson verbally, then physically abused Tymon, then continued to verbally assault him.
- Tymon went to A&E to have himself checked out.
- Clarkson reported himself to the BBC.
At no point did Tymon "grass" Clarkson up.
I missed a vital word out in my phrase.... "the producer should have dropped him" meaning he should have battered Clarkson, it makes more sense... It's my local colloquialism that may not come across well.

It wasn't the local colloquialism that threw me, it was the missing "him" and "had"!

Get Ricky Gervais & Stephen Merchant to ring them with challenges & what cars they need & off we go.
