Absolutely, they'll probably be rushing to cash in on him behind the scenes before his disassociation with the show sinks in to viewers minds too much, getting as much merchandise to disgruntled viewers out the door asap

Just to clarify a few facts:
      • The producer, Oisin Tymon, had worked on Top Gear for ten years.
      • Clarkson was angry because there was no hot food in the hotel they were staying at during filming.
      • Clarkson verbally, then physically abused Tymon, then continued to verbally assault him.
      • Tymon went to A&E to have himself checked out.
      • Clarkson reported himself to the BBC.

At no point did Tymon "grass" Clarkson up.

I missed a vital word out in my phrase.... "the producer should have dropped him" meaning he should have battered Clarkson, it makes more sense... It's my local colloquialism that may not come across well.

I think they might be too busy dealing with refunds for the live shows.

It wasn't the local colloquialism that threw me, it was the missing "him" and "had"!

Yeah, I missed those words too and so totally misconstrued it - my apologies!

*goes of to look up 'misconstrue'*

Edit: Yes, seems I used it correctly. But only now seeing the typo in there but leaving it for public record.

Latest inkling is that the BBc are throwing money in May and Hammonds faces to stay on for the new series and that they'll have a guest presenter join them each week as they do with Have I Got News For You

Still won't be the same though will it, like Have I Got News For You hasn't been the same since Deayton got the sack years ago.

Sure Clarkson will have some cunning plan up his sleeve that will involve the pair of them and lots of coinage.

Yeah, doesn't even need to be a car show at this point. Just set up situations where they all go on a jolly and be stupid each week and it's a winner.

Just call it "Clarkson, May & Hammond - Idiots Abroad" & Sky will have a new series sorted forever

Get Ricky Gervais & Stephen Merchant to ring them with challenges & what cars they need & off we go.

                          Team Effort

We should start up BD Productions & go to the TV execs with the ideas
