FMP12 was good as always. Sagara blowing his top again and getting rather shooty at the end.
Suzuka was good as well. Suzuka obviously feeling annoyed that she ain't getting no Akitsuki loving.
EDIT: WOOO, some brave group as went for Aria. Also Black Cat 2 is outLast edited by Stelvia; 16-10-2005, 06:59.

Saw Jigoku shoujo and I'd agree with what's been said, it was ace. Definitely one I'll be following in the future. However I thought Mayumi was a bit stupid doing what she did. I mean
she has the courage/stupidity/etc... to sell her soul basically so that she will never go to heaven once she dies but she doesn't have the courage/stupidity/etc.. to face up to the person bullying her. I thought it was a rather weak case of revenge but really that's my only complaint with it. I mean that aside it was great. Hopefully there'll be slightly less stupid revenge plots in the future episodes. It does look like they will be separate stories although I suppose it still is too early tell. I myself am hoping for some sort of overarching story to emerge.
I'm pleased that someone got round to releasing Keroro Gunso episode 8 as well. It's been a while since the last release by Soldats. PetoPeto San ep5, Aria ep1 and Black Cat ep2 to look forward to as well. Looking forward to watching themLast edited by Zapp$ter; 16-10-2005, 14:24.

Jigoku shoujo, really got animation and style just like PA, still the revenge story was a tad stupid,
as say zap says if she can have the courage to sell her soul, why not just beat the seven shades of crap out of the bully, plus it?s a tad harsh sending someone to hell for just bullying. I think I would have preferred it if the revenge had changed her via scaring the bejesus out of her or even just a plain old death, and maybe the compensation for doing so is losing a hand or something.
Naurto 146-155, plus manga 275-279
Decided to get DB releases, still lots of filler for the anime.. its not all bad but then the stories are piss poor excuses to give fan service for the none main characters and I did enjoy Hinata?s new Total Defence(which was very well animation ep), an at least the Rock Lee filler has Rock Lee in it, also the new Opening/Ending are really bad, I liked the last ending, and the opening had grown on me. I?ve heard that this filler could go on some time( ? years worth at least) anyone got firm details on it?
Manga?s still going strong, nice fights and Kakashi?s new move is insane and naruto getting angry is always a winner, I know a few people don?t how Gaara was saved and it was a quite cheesy I but liked it none the less.

I've read there's more Naruto filler planned and apparently they might not start the next manga arc until next year. So there will be at least a whole season's worth of filler episodes(there's already been about 20 of them). I just hope this means that they won't have to do anymore filler in the future, once they start following the manga again.

just downloaded and watched a series called Black Cat - 2 episodes available
its about a guy called Train Heartnet who is the black cat aka XIII (13) who is an eraser (assassin) working for a group called Chronos
the other main character is called Sven Volfied who is a sweeper, it hasnt quite explained them yet but they seem to be bounty hunters but by the code they cannot kill anybody
seems okay in the first episode the intro has 2 guys fighting with big swords and pistols - so there could be some dante style action left to come
overall okay - i will continue to watch it, but as usual quite funny - the humour in these anime's has me in stitched
the most underused sound is a rumbling belly

Watched the last episode of SAC 2nd Gig last night and I have to say something to someone, even if it's in spoiler tags, or I'll explode
Spoilers for the last episode so don't read unless you've seen it.
The penultimate episode felt as though it was building up to something dramatic and I wasn't sure there would be a proper conclusion to the series without some sort of 'to be continued.....'. The last series had a great build up to the conclusion towards the end, but I wasn't sure where this could go. They couldn't kill Motoko off, simply wouldn't happen, and they couldn't pretend to kill her as that had already been done, but they might have left the ending hanging somehow which would of really bothered me.
As it was, the ending on the whole was quite well done with the Tachi's pulling through for Section 9 in the end. There was still a bit of a loose end, I couldn't figure out who killed off Kuze and why? I didn't quite get that, but that may have been down to a bad translation. And the bit where Motoko kills off Gouda and then suddenly chases after something, only for the scene to end abruptly without going any further was wierd.
However, the last few minutes made it for me and probably many GITS fans. I'd always been under the impression that the SAC series was meant to be completely seperate from Shirow's novels and the films, a bit of a 'What if?' the Puppet Master never happened. For the last episode to then tie in directly with the start of the first novel was an absolutely brilliant touch.
Having thoroughly enjoyed both series' I'd love for the SAC team to cover the Graphic novel, there is more than enough story and ground to cover to fill another 26 episodes and they could definitely do a better job than the movie.

Well its about to hit a fair few one off episodes all to do with section9?s past and some of them are really good. My only disappointment of the 2nd season is the music isn?t as good as the 1st season.
Also where did you catch ep26 Risk? I haven?t seen a LMF sub come out yet, so it gotta be someone else.

Yeah it was someone else Tobal, so unfortunately the subs were up to LMF's usual standard, but after seeing the end of episode 25 I was desperate to see if anyone else had subbed 26. There is a link on
I just did a search for Stand Alone Complex 2nd Gig and found a torrent list of all the episodes.

Really enjoying some of the anime in this new season. I just caight up with some stuff I downloaded and more or less all of the stuff I've seen I'll be following.
Shakugan No Shana - Title translates to Flame eyed Shana or something to that effect. It's based on some novels and a manga I think. The first two eps have been subbed(I've watched the Eclipse version) and I think the raw for the third one is out. The story seems to centre around two main characters at this moment, which is Yuji and Shana. Shana is a very cold hearted Flame Haze( a term used to describe basically hunters of monsters) and Yuji is at the moment a "normal" school student The first two episodes were very good in my opinion and did enough to get me hooked and I even quite like the OP and ED. I won't say too much about the story since it is pretty much explained in the first two episodes. I kind of felt sorry for that girl Hirai in the second episode, it wa quite depressing what happened to her, hopefully that's not the last we see of her. You guys should check it out, if you haven't already.
Aria - I checked this out mainly because Stelvia mentioned it in this thread and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Seems to be a slice of life show with a very relaxed feel. There were some nice bits of comedy and I'm pretty much hooked. It seems to be very different from some of the other animes this season, the complete opposite of Shakugan for example. The setting is very nice and overall it looks really good. Another one I'll be sticking with. I picked up HikariNoKiseki's version of the first ep which was good enough for me.
Paradise Kiss - I've seen the first episode of this and it seems be another slice of life show but this time based around the world of fashion. It basically follows these five students(I think they're all students) who are all into fashion and making their own clothes. They have their own fashion label which they call Paradise Kiss. Now I've not seen all of Beck(really must get back to it as I enjoyed it) so I don't know if it changes but this show seems to have a very similar feel to Beck, only replace band with fashion group/label. I really enjoyed the first episode, some nice comedy scenes in there and again I'll be following this show. Well worth a watch.
Aside from that I watched Canvas2 episode2 which I enjoyed, again some good bits of comedy(for me at least). Particularly the bit where
Hagino (the little girl) talks about her writing some sort of romantic novel and the comment she makes about Elis
. Seems to be a mix of Da Capo and Shuffle, minus the fantasy elements. Again it's done enough to keep me interested, although maybe I'm the only one. The main guy seems to be pretty likeable, no real idiotic moments from him yet though I do expect that to change.
Add to the above shows Jigoku Shoujo, Blood+, Black Cat and possibly Gunparade Orchestra, then it's been very good so far for me. Plus there's still some shows I've got no clue about such as Mushishi and then there's Noein which is the one I was looking forward to most which has yet to be subbed.

I enjoyed Aria to, strange background though, a gondola taxi service on terrorformed planet. I?ve given up on Cluster Edge, one episode of overly bishi tones was enough to have reaching for the recycle bin. Seen Black Cat now, liked what saw and should be downloading the next ep.
Not seen Paradise Kiss or Shakugan No Shanab yet, and dropped Canvas2(Shuffle and Dacapo2 are enough) and Playball.
