Kanokon ep2: More over the top fan-service and yet I'm still enjoying this. Maybe this reveals my mindset to much. ;>_> Chizuru's and Kouta's VA still make this work so well.

So my 99&#37; guarrantee that Jinto would die turns out to be false which I'm glad about.

Fairly nice end to the series as well although I'd personally love there to be more.

Muttering slightly since there's been a batch load of releases on TT and I've already hit my download cap for today. Gundam, Geass and Golgo 13 will have to wait for tomorrow.

Golgo 13 ep 1 - The manliest sharpshooter in the world is back! I remember watching a Golgo 13 OVA or movie on scifi ages ago and this episode is pretty much the same thing but in a 25 minute standard episode format. I found it unintentionally funny at certain points (the sex scene) because it seemed so straight faced and some of the dialogue and animation... just... >_< I half expected him to take the shot blindfolded whilst piloting the plane with one hand and pleasuring a lady with the other. Nothing is impossible for Golgo 13! The whole thing is positively dripping with manliness and strangely enough I enjoyed it although I suspect that was as much about laughing at it than anything. It remains to be seen how long I'll be able to find entertainment in it. It's certainly different to the other shows I've been watching...

I don't know if this has ever been mentioned, but Shigofumi is a must-watch. It's about a girl who works as an after-life postal worker, delivering letters to the world of the living from the people who've recently died. It's quite interesting.

Kyouran Kazoku Nikki ep 1- well it's been subbed by SS-Eclipse. So it looks like most shows will be covered this season, which is a good thing. It was entertaining and I suppose it did have its moments. I don't think it was amazingly funny or anything but it was crazy/wacky/insane and the setup does have potential. I see this as a potential replacement for Hayate (for those that have finished it I'm still languishing around episode 26). So far I like the

main guy and the Lion, although you don't get to see much of him in the episode. He, at least, does seem to have his head screwed on (*waits for an episode to come along and totally trash this thought*) and I think you need a bit of normalcy with all the other characters they have in the family. It is certainly a unique bunch. Kyouka is already treading a fine line I think. There were points in that first episode where she was beginning to annoy. But then luckily she did something that made me chuckle or smile. Like getting her children to lick her shoes.

My main thought after that was, I feel sorry for Ouka. He seems like a nice, normal guy and he has to put up with all that.

It's a keeper for me (as if that's any surprise )

suzaku providing the cheat heat(and it works ) and Lelouch back to best.. still only ep 2 and we have 3 geass users and Rollo seems even more hax than cheating Suzaku if he can teleport. Also good to see Table-tan back

as for ayako subs i just downloaded a couple this afternoon, but i have just noticed that the torrent status has gone red, meaning there's something up with the tracker, more than likely its down for some reason

anyways:

Allison & Lillia 02 - pretty decent ep, the little dog-fight at the beginning was quite nice, as was the story of the old woman and the subsequent character development. Seems like its going to go abit Kino with them meeting people during the journey and them telling the pair his or her story, intermixed with some Indy-esk action, im half expecting some nazi-esk bad guys to turn up atm

To Love Ru 02 - not a bad ep, typical fanservice show so far, some amusing touches like action needed to enter and exit the engagement, and the warp bracelet, but its nothing to far from the generic atm, still its not a bad watch

Kanokon 02 - probably my favourite of the fanservice shows so far, had me chuckling in more than a couple of places, also i Noto and she just seems to fit the role so well, very much enjoying this despite what it is

Kyouran Kazoku Nikki 01- barmy stuff all the way from the OP to the ED, was certainly an interesting way to introduce the characters, and what a bunch they are, its set its self up for what could be a very amusing random and wacky comedy, i just hope it doesn't disappoint

Kyouran Kazoku Nikki ep1: Didn't think it was as totally random as people were making it but I'd seen all the characters/profiles before I started so that may be why. Great potential for this being really good though but wow can Kyouka talk fast. I didn't think anything would come close to Excel but she's mighty close.

Gintama 54: I love this series. The whole fight with the Ganguro girls and the meal at the start was awesome.

Late i know but i had to wait for the Conclave-Mendoi HD 1280x720 subs... ep 24/25 finale of Gundam00.

Wow what an ending with a few cast culls and i suppose a next generation of Meisters for OOP(Nena and Tieria so far but wheres Allelujah and Setsuna...), and the ending show some of the surviving characters, like Patrick who i though was dead for sure(on par with Seirra's death had he stayed dead), Graham in a Mask(WOOT!) and Bastard Ali.

After a rocky start where it seemed far to GWING like it improved by leaps and bounds by midway and have me hooked for the final fights, much, much better than last effort Destiny.

Back to Code Geass and Macross!

Kanokon ep 2/ToLoveRu ep 2 - I'm finding To Love Ru the less offensive of the two. There was just something about the 2nd episode of Kanokon that I found annoying, probably the whole ChizuruXKouta thing, although it did lead to some **** during one scene I suppose. Hard to call which I prefer because on the one hand I'm finidng Kanokon a bit annoying and on the other To Love Ru is really forgettable (well the 2nd ep had its moments). I think TO Love Ru just shades it for me. I can't believe I'm even discussing this though

Am I the only one that wants more G00 compared to Geass? At least with G00 most the annoying characters are dead now unlike Suzaku*spit* and Table Girl.

Gundam 00 - Agreed with the general opinion, although tbh I was never as down on the series in the early days as some of you lot were but it definitely took a turn for the better around the midway point. The only thing that would have made the last two episodes more awesome would have been more Graham.

The exchange between him and setsuna was loltastic. Especially the bit where he says it was Love and setsuna's like "Love?!" with a sort of confused and slightly worried look on his face. I also had a bit of a lol at allelujah/hallelujah. Who knew a new hairstyle could do so much for you?

. Looking forward to the continuation now. Definitely preferring it to Destiny and let's hope the second season doesn't let it down.

Macross F ep 2 - well it keeps on giving and I think it and Geass will replace the Gundam shaped hole left in my schedule very nicely. I loved the bit where

he asked to pilot the VF-25 and got smacked down. Ordinarily I think (in shows from recent years at least) someone would have said "Sure, why not? Go ahead, kid." And so far all the characters seem really likable which is always nice.

edit: Just remembered another thing from Kanokon ep 2. The whole key and keyhole thing, she said. I did laugh at that but more to the point it reminded me of this really bad show I had been watching ages ago, Kagihime! I think I still have it on my to watch list in fact

still well behind with new stuff, but saw the second episode of macross last night, and its brilliant. i am a whore for macross anyway, but it was class.

Allison to Lillia ep 2 - agreed with Orka pretty much. Some of it was a bit contrived. However,I liked the pacing and the characters continue to impress me at least, nothing on the level of Kurenai, but still a nice collection compared to some of the other new shows at least. It's bubbling along nicely.

edit: oh and with the leaked bit of geass ep 3 it seems that rollo

has some sort of time stopping geass. At least I think those were Lelouche's words, it doesn't really give a proper explanation I don't think. Maybe in a later episode...
