Macross F ep23 - Just what the hell, just how are they going to clear this mess up in 2 eps??? And if following the rules of a reverse macross as some people are pointing out, Sheryl and Ozuma chick are up for the chopping block. Bah! this show gone so stupid now, i'm just hoping for Ranka to get a bullet in the head and Sheryl to get a magical space aids cure.

Soul Eater ep23 - Nice ep, the battle between madusa and Frankenstien ended in an unexpected way for a shounen

she was quite a good character and to get chopped in half sucked. Also the animation and art put into the death god slowely reforming that bag of skin into a body really, really creeped me out, you could feel the fear in the frog witches face

Goddamn Furuichi what a **** you are. What a miserable sod just because the girl he likes has a thing for someone else instead. The military chief and the blonde wench aren't much better either. Gotta feel sorry for Haru though. Major lols at Raigyo the player. Seems next episode we get to see Nakiami's sister, possible past of Raigyo and Haru becoming "serious" with her military career.

Furuichi becomes the new ogoi, who was the new Rossiu. what a dick , still very much enjoying this show and hope it carries on the way it has.

That is a ****load of death and very enjoyable mind battle, i kinder feel sorry for Britianian soliders with all those sacrifices, and in the end it comes down to Lulu relying Table-tanto produce whatever this Anti-nuke is. Surprisingly no deaths of primary characters, i'm just hoping kallen and Tamaki make through alive onthe other side.

Kishins twisted face, quality. The Stein/Medusa fight was great, a lof of the fights in Soul Eater seem to be Choreographed really well. The next looks to be a good one, can't wait to see Shinigami vs Kishin fight Especially with the "young" looking Shinigami lol

edit: Just watched Eve no Jikan ep 1, I really enjoyed it. Seems like it could be an interesting series, just a shame that the episode was only 15min long and there are only going to be 6 episodes

Been a while since I posted... been dabbling in some other stuff (mainly comics) so the anime stuff has been neglected and the backlog grows ever larger . Still I plan to try and start tackling it during the new season, hopefully during the downtime between subbed episodes of the new shows. We'll see how that pans out. I really need to be less forgiving and only watch the good stuff. Doesn't seem to work with anime though, partly because of how it's acquired I guess.

Anywho, Geass and Macross I've managed to catch up on. Macross has not been as good these past few weeks, although at least there are some constants in it, namely the ace music and at least the captain of the Quarter is still a badass

Geass, well I think unless there's something really astonishing in the next two episodes, it'll be ranked lower than the first season for me. I still enjoy it a lot every week. It's one of those shows whereby before I realise it I'm skipping the horrid ED to get to the next episode preview. But that's sort of always been the draw for me I guess. Also Schneizel is now at the top of my hitlist.

Finally finished Toshokan Sensou too. Loved it to bits. Up there with Kaiba and Kurenai for me. I might even rank it *whispers*higher*whispers* purely because I dig that kind of stuff. It appealed to all my sensibilities and I was pretty hyped for it before it aired. Main gripe is that we didn't get to see more with

Shibasaki - Tezuka and I'd have liked more Kasahara - Dojo scenes after they (I'm assuming) hooked up

. Still, Noitamina comes up trumps again. As with Kurenai, I really hope we get to see more of these characters in future seasons. Especially when you have crap like Ikkitousen getting multiple seasons. Not fair... I might even have to resort to finding some novel translations for this. That's how much I liked it.

On the subject of new seasons of shows, it seems that Hajime No Ippo has got another season coming in January 2009. Still need to watch the first season myself but I know some of you are big fans of it.

Now on to Xamd. From the sounds of it, it's everything I was hoping it'd be when I started reading up about it way back. Looking forward to it.

Nah. You're not the only one. I'd hazard a guess that most of the fans of the original (which was pretty much everyone here) will be looking forward to it. It's on my must watch asap list just like the last series.

I dont remember the exact chapter but it was a few after the new kid fights with his rival and unlocks his "genius" ability Dont even remember where I was getting em from heh

Nodame season 2 should be ace. Bit of a kicker it'll only be 11 episodes long (according to various sites).


Taken a bit of a back seat in watching anime myself; just kind of waiting for thew new season. Macross and geass are both on hold till they're finished and I rush through them in one final push.

Edit: Actually, what I'm really itching for is some more manga to read. I've found a few ace series recently and it just makes me want more.

Good, i've been reading the novels over at BT and it's making me want to marathon the series+ovas again. Maybe i;ll find some time during christmas holidays.

1.FMP season3(4 if you count Fumoffu)
2.Airmaster (there ****loads they missed out of the manga they could turn into a second season)

9th of October for Nodame. I'm of two minds whether to catch up with the manga.

Mushishi and Moyashimon both need a 2nd series. Hopefully with the manga of Mushishi finished, someone will put the idea forward. I know the director of the first series said he'd love to do another.
The next Full Metal Panic novel would be amazing to see animated since it's just so unbelievabley awesome. Leaves your jaw dropped at the end and begging for more with it's cliffhanger.

Extra series wise I'd love to see more Spice and Wolf (possible 2nd season has been rumoured with the last dvd release), Sketchbook and the next novel of Crest/Banner of the Stars.

I'd love more Aria if only the series hadn't finished totally. At least there's always the scanalations of the manga and the new project in November.
