Bit late now but it's really easy to see if a sellers up to no good -

http://toolhaus.org and there's a search plugin for firefox as well.

Well, the guy immediately refunded me the money and said to just keep the discs as his source wouldn't refund him on opened items. Lots of people seem happy with the discs, so i guess with the money he's making, he's quite happy to refund those that complain and just write the cash off.

Yeah, the actual value of the junk they sell can be so low that most of those sellers have no problem with refunding a buyer and losing the item. I'd leave neg feedback anyway - not that it will do much good.

I sold an XBOX game on eBay last Sunday. I checked b4 I listed it to make sure it was working & again just b4 posting it.
The buyer got it today because he left positive feedback.
I just got an email from him saying that it doesnt work & that he got a msg on screen saying that the disc was dirty or scratched.

What should I do, as the game obviously worked fine with me just b4 I posted it?
If he hadnt left feedback already I wouldnt have given a f**k about getting negged as I'm in the right. However, I'm more worried about him filing a dispute with Paypal to get his money back.

          Any ideas?

Original Xbox game? I bet he's got one of the ****e DVD drives that doesn't read certain games. Not really his fault, though, so I dunno if a refund would be best

Not helpful this time and maybe its a bit of a hassle but with so many scammers on ebay nowadays it may be worth you taking a pic of your disc (with a newspaper for date? for evidence in a dispute? and maybe marking em somewhere with a UV pen ? Just a thought

Just say the disc is mint and that it's his Xbox as it runs fine - which is the truth!

ebay, paypal dispute and no refund help

                    Hi all,

have paid £200 to a legite company for some stuff, very reputable and very few neg feedback, items are now 3 weeks overdue and all emails have been unanswered.

escalated to a paypal dispute and he ignored all there emails and mine for that mater, finaly escualted to get my money back, and paypal couldnt.

presuming police wont be interested so whats my next step?

can i go to a small claims court to get my money back? if so how much does this cost? item was supposed to be posted via parcel force 24 hour so it can be proved ive not signed for it if it went to court?

any ideas / suggestions , a few of my less patient friends are more than willing to drive there for a bit of gentle persuassion, but id rather get my £200 back than resort to that.

                    regards
                    jason

I've had 2 from them regarding this & the 2nd one was a reminder email, but I dunno it all looks a bit fishy to me

****ing COCK just bought a phone off me for £80. He's just mailed me to say he doesn't want it as he hasn't got enough money. So i just mailed him saying why the **** did he bid for it if he hadn't got the money, then i proceeded to call him a f*cking c***. god I'm so pissed off right now.
