As Bad Bwoy said, i'd meet the guy in person, check the state of the guitar then hand the money over. ?800 is a lot of money to waste.

Thanks for the replies, I thought it was a bit dodgey. Heh don't worry I was never going to send any money anway without playing the guitar first, bah I'm a bit annoyed it's probably a scammer. Must admit, I never thought I'd ever be even slightly fooled by one, but this one is very realistic. He's got millions of pictures of the guitar, took the pictures of where I asked and seems to know alot about the guitar. Anyway, I'll wait till he gets back to me about picking the guitar up in person and paying for it there, if he says no, well then I deffinetly wont be sending any money via anything.
EDIT - look at this! deffinetly a scam! ... I'll email ebay.

Hahaha, look at this email he just sent me. He must know I was onto him, ah well and darn, I've just missed out on a meal cooked by his wife and a glass of wine! ... Hah he was believable untill then, what's scary is someone is probably going to get scammed by him. He's not saying `this guitar is best guitar ever` he mentioned the flaws, took pictures of them and described them in correct guitar nerd speak!

Hmmm. I am always wary about the quality of someone's written English, especially if they are supposedly from the UK. The email you recieved is either the work of a very ill/dyslexic gentleman, or some evil scam guy who never learned to read and write because they were too busy comitting crimes.
Harold! Classic name though.
