They've changed the layout too (for the motoGP as we all know) but Damon is saying that they want to use the new one for F1 as well. No more Bridge corner

Probably part of the deal to get Bernie to agree.

Just had the email through about tickets for next years F1 at Silverstone... So... same day as the World Cup Final then. Great planning.

Heh, sounds about right, not that England will be in the final anyway.

Did read they'd sold £1.5 million worth of tickets since the F1 announcement on Monday. Still a very long way to go until they even think about breaking even/making a profit. Good old Bernie.

That's only about 3 tickets worth though, so no great shakes.

Looks like Moto GP style scoring could be brought in to F1 next year

And doesn't look like Ferrari will let Schumacher join Mercedes

So they are gonna **** up the scoring stats once again.

Renault staying in F1, in name at least:

Still not clear who's taking over the team though.

The BBC also says that all of the new cars are going to be launched at the same time, at the end of January, before pre-season testing in Valencia.

Yes, quite a nice idea, though don't know if the new teams will all have their cars ready by then. The teams way of showing how keen they are to cut costs also.

Looks like Schumi is back for 1 season - A verbal agreement is in place if reports are to be believed.

Trulli off to Lotus as well, on what to me is a surprising 3 year deal!

I so want to see Schuey race in F1 again. Be great to have a grid with four world champions on it.

And Heiki will partner Trulli apparently, Lotus didn't want Sato.

Can't wait to see MS back in F1 again, think it is/was only Montezemolo standing in the way and seems he's going to let him go now.

Will be interesting to see how 2010 pans out what with the new scoring as well.

                                Could be a vintage year
