Qualifying is officially miles more exciting than the racing. I say abolish racing and just go for 2 hours of time trials.

The racing has been pretty good this year, though unless the Bulls trip each other up on the first corner I think this one will be dull.

It was pretty unfair to give Kubica a stop/go when it was the lollypop man's fault the crash happened I thought. Vettel got well and truly shafted by the safety car and Schumi was a giant cock.

Although there were plenty of exciting moments it was again frustrating that cars 1/2 seconds per lap faster than the car in front could not overtake.

It's a lot of fun watching Schumacher acting like some kind of Wacky races style dirty red baron and that bouncing tire was a proper bunker buster, I was amazed it didn't chin someone when it sprang right up.

10 place grid penalty for Shumi at Spa.

              edit,

Renault and Mercedes have been fined 50,000$ for their pit lane cock ups.

Accident from Brands Hatch today. Similar to Schumi/Barrichello.

He survived with only a broken ankle and a bruised shoulder and hands. Very lucky.

what I thought was going to be a boring parade of F1 cars changed in a stunning race when the safetycar came on track ! a truly stunning performance by Webber, looked like he was doing qualifying lap after qualifying lap !
Schumacher is turning out like the disgrace of the F1 grid, that move on Barrichello was totally unnessesary, I saw more of these moves of him trying to keep his position no matter what.
And then seeing that CHIN after the race giving his view of what happend... **** him
A shame for Hamilton, but for the championship it´s getting really close now !
Looking forward to Spa, hope the McLaren will find some more speed to keep up the pace of the Ferrari´s and RedBull´s

I couldn't agree with you more Roy. An absolutely disgraceful move from Schumacher, completely unnecessary, even worse than Senna's move on Prost at Estoril. What I don't get is that this man has young children, Rubens has a child, and that move could have left one or both with no father. And I don't say that lightly or over-react, it was millimetres away from a potential disaster. The reaction afterward was also shocking - smug, little concern over what had happened, and actually suggesting Rubens was to blame. One of the worst moves I have ever seen since I started watching F1. A race ban should be the result, not a 10 grid place penalty.

Other than that, a fantastic GP, and this championship is so unpredictable. Vettel must be ruing his inability to convert pole position into race wins. Realistically I don't see McLaren suddenly gaining enough pace by the end of the season to keep up, so I think this is now Webber v Vettel v Alonso. Bring on Spa!

When I saw it I was more impressed with the balls of Rubens than thinking about pointing fingers at Schumacher. From what I saw as soon as he realised Rubens was that close he swerved way out to give him space again. Japanese commentators seemed to take a similar view from what I could understand. I didn't see any of the interviews though.

Schumacher pushed that Williams as far as the race track and pit lane would allow.

Rubens was pushed into the start / finish wall and when that ended, he was pushed further into the pit lane exit road in till Schumacher pulled back. Despite this, Rubens still had to go over the gutter to get back onto the track before he ran out of road.

It was great to watch and stunned me not only how much of a great driver Rubens was to complete the move, but what a total bastard Schumacher still is.

It was a great race, and as long as Schumacher does not kill anyone, then I'm looking forward to what he'll try to get away with at Spa!
