What happens if it ends up being a draw ?

    Comment

It can't be a draw as they then go to most wins, most seconds, most thirds etc until one person has more than the other.

The FIA are to appoint a special scrutineer to monitor Mclaren at the next race to make sure they keep it fair between Alonso and Hamilton.

Not surprised really, and I believe the shenanigans going on in that team are a lot worse than it has been played out in the public eye, which is bad enough.

Alonso has done a lot for Mclaren - Hamilton fans might not appreciate it, but he has brought speed to that team, just like he will if leaves for another team next season.

He has prolific technical ability - Pat Symonds continually made the point when he was at Renault.

I was a big Mclaren fan, but they have gone downhill a lot if my eyes this season.

              Alonso is pathetic.

McClaren can't slow his car down or mess it up as if Lewis got into accident with Massa for example. The championship will be between Kimi and Fernando and I am sure Ron would rather to see Fernando stop Ferrari winning the driver champions.

So McClaren wouldn't be able to influence the race too much, maybe in 2nd pit stop. ie call Alonso in bad time to release him to traffic jam.

I hope Hamilton will lead the race from start to finish and lap Alonso to rub his nose in.

The FIA are the pathetic ones for pandering to him. Its Mclaren's decision as to whether they want to favour one driver over the other and has quite frankly got nothing to do with the FIA.

Some of the penalties handed out to drivers this year had been ridiculous and in a way, you can see why Montoya got out of the sport when he did. He would have been handed out so many penalties under this year's guidelines he probably wouldn't have ever seen the top 10.

On a more positive note, that Singapore track looks very promising. With Valencia also coming in next year, we're going to have three street circuits on the calender for the first time in ages, which is going to be great to watch.

Oh and can't wait for the Spyker vs Super Aguri for the battle of the back team fight... Going to be Mental!

Apparently another reason why Wurz isn't racing in brazil is because he sustained a Groin injury in the crash

In other news, the Singapore GP site is live now with a circuit map. Looks like a proper street circuit too. It's anti clockwise btw.

I don't think you should need to be specifically told not to make stupid threads in the trading forum, that's just kinda common sense. Your string of nonsense posts in this thread probably didn't help your cause either..

I remember a couple of years ago, think it was about the Turkish Grand Prix, that driving anti-clockwise around a circuit was more demanding than driving clockwise.

                                Why should this be so?
