They might be a total clich?, but I spent some time messing about with water drops on the weekend and came up with these. It was actually a great learning curve for a camera n00b like me.

Red Swirl looks like a water version of the Fifa World Cup Trophy. I keep meaning to do some more water effect, last one was around 10 years ago......

I like the milk/water effect, interesting idea to reverse the colours.

Been shooting for the AP comp, decided on this one for my entry for this month ...

Not entered the forum comp yet, was struggling to find a subject to shoot 3 of. Though at least we can enter images 800px x 800px now!

Also got the AP POTY to enter this month as well (hoping to enter each round with a new image - preferably shot within the last month - though last one I decided to use one of my stock images as it fitted the subject better)

Just thought I'd try out the Flickr tags...

The later ones are new. A Blurb book print is on its way to me.

am I being really dense, how do we get a pic in here from Flickr now using the flickr tags, I keep trying and getting told it can't find my image !

Took my camera up the hills today. Extra weight wasn't pleasant and it was annoying taking the camera in and out, etc. Lots of messing around when I'm really out to walk so I don't know if I'll do it again, so much easier to just have a point n shoot or mobile in the pocket for some pictures. But the shots you can get are awesome. Heres a few of my favourites.

                          Seems to be working okay.

@Roscco - nice shots. You can see for miles in that first one

can you show an example of the syntax you used to post your picture spatial as I'm trying to use the flickr tags and its not working for me.

I'm just using the standard Flickr embed BB code from the Flickr site rather than the button here - whenever I try that it gives me the "No such photos found" box

thanks, that code works ! well after all that, here is a pic I nabbed the other night when a few of us got let up on the roof of the office in Canary Wharf, looking back towards the City.
