Looks nice and sharp. I'll be playing with flash soon as i've just bought a ST-E2 (speedlite transmitter) and a 430EX (already have a 580). So expect to see me double chin highlighted in a few different ways

Also, not sure if it would have, but did my answer to your question on the last page make sense?

Anyway had a decent off camera flash setup for my old film Eos, however it didn't work with digital. So a few pounds lighter I can relive what I did 10 years ago now

Alastair,
Still haven't got access to my external drive but will definetely put it up ASAP!
The shoot was just for fun/learning and the model wanted to do something different from her usual underwear stuff. Was great but have LOTS to learn. Think it will be easier when I get a DSLR though to be honest. Chances are I probably won't do anymore until I get back from travels though.Last edited by Gareth C; 18-10-2007, 22:22.

Quick question for all you experts: where do you recommend for online printing services? Doesn't need to be super-primo expensive, just quick, reliable, nice quality and decent price.
This is for 400D shots so they're currently quite large. Will I need to resize them before upload?
Thanks in advance!
Edit: I'm seeing BonusPrint, Snapfish and Photobox... all around the 10p mark. Any votes?Last edited by Nijo; 20-10-2007, 12:51.

Photobox get stuff back to you very quickly. I've had a couple of decent A3 sized prints from them, and I also used them to do calenders for Christmas presents last year. The quality impressed me a lot, so I'm going to use them again this year too.
I like that hat pic Ish - nicely done. Haven't taken much recently that's been worth uploading.
I took this one yesterday, I thought the blue tones matched the recent chilly weather

For those in the UK; Thursday night 9pm BBC4 The Genius of Photography.
First ep sounds a bit dry to be honest but I imagine we'll all learn something from watching the series.

Also, did anyone see the Sebastian Salgado piece in the Sunday Times yesterday? Some great shots there from his many journeys through Africa.
