Finally some good news! After 2 heart attacks end of July last year, triple open heart bypass in August (first day I went out was my wedding September) heart stopping and then getting rushed back in August then getting a waterborne infection in my leg due to surgery which is finally healing, then getting steadily worse and rushed back in November with suspected heart attack to find my grafts ain't take properly so more heart surgery this time 3 stents as the doc put it it's complicated in there, then more probs and flu for a month I've started to pick up. Had another echo last week and my results yesterday as was bricking it and my hearts finally pumping properly again :-) :-)

My latest is managing to tear the ligaments in my right ankle playing football. I wouldn't have minded if it was during a game, but I was just having a kickabout with the girlfriends lad.

Good news about the heart DazzyMakes me sad to see some of you guys go through all the crap.
My current problems sound really lame in comparison but it's properly got me down. Had a flu virus since before Xmas which includes chills, fever and stuffy head and then moved onto short breathing and a dizzy head, followed this weekend by a tummy bug.

woke up this morning with an extremely sore end of my nose, painful to touch, it looks like a coldsore, didn't think you could get them there, can you? had a little bit of a runny nose but that's about it, have been unusually free of any illness the whole winter period thankfully so i won't fret over it too much

I've been having recurring pain in my hip for the last 4-5 years that has gotten so bad I'm wincing in pain when the pain hits (not good on the motorway at 80mph)
Finally got round to getting to Doctors who has sent me for an X-ray , turns out I have a golf ball sized cyst inside my femur. Had a CT scan in a giant time machine style thing that I could hear spinning around me, it was cool.
I've got an MRI scan booked for a few weeks time

Depression for me! It used to be very very bad... and I did things I now regret. Now I'm on these new meds I'm really balanced now. The side effects were HORRIBLE though! Nausea, shaking, nightmares, dry lips and mouth, bruising, nearly fainting sometimes. But now they have settled down I'm really glad I'm on them. They also help my anxiety disorder aswell. The problem is that I'm just not confident enough to live without them...Last edited by darkangel; 25-02-2012, 21:10.

Got rushed back in ambulance last night with suspected heart attack :-(. Really bad and pumped full of morphene. Got released today after 2nd blood test but specialist said should prepare for worst as ECG was really bad and also showing this heart flutter. Bricking it as reckoned I'd def had a heart attack so talk about jumping for joy when it came back clear. Found out I've got aggressive, severe coronary heart disease and my grafts had actually furred over since July reason for stents. Bit bleak at moment so have to just take each day and if get another attack 999 instantly :-( they have no idea why it's doing what it is and arteries having probs, just genetics they reckon so there very concered. Worried for wife going thru it all!
