Weed? The gentlemen in the flat beneath us smokes all sorts of naughty stuff here and there and it leaves such a horrible smell in the bathroom. Nowhere else, just the bathroom. Blood hate the stuff.

I know the smell of weed and this just doesn't smell like it - like I say it's got that kind of really strong lavender smell to it. But then again it's been years since I was flat sharing with other students and there could be some sort of potent weed for old ladys who like lavender now.

Then again, the weed smell I'm familiar with is that of it being smoked - if he was growing it, I don't know what that's like to compare it.

But saying that it could also be anything stronger like crystal meth production and I'd be none the wiser... well, apart from being high as kite all the time

Just went out for a drive with the misses. It was the first time she's driven her new car after recently passing (on her 6th test, bless her). My god I've never been so nervous...

I'm generally a really passive, relaxed, easy going guy...not much really bothers me or gets me restless.... but i was definitely sitting uneasily just now. On the surface though, of course I sung her praises saying how well she was doing, not to worry about that lorry that almost hit us etc etc, but inside i was screaming. Screaming!!

I'm a bit loathed to just fling them as it's the original documents. Anyone got any ideas of what I should do with it or who I'd hand it in to?

Couple of things you could do but they all have caveats...

How long have you lived there? If it's not *that* long then the previous occupant might still have a redirection (post) and if that's the case, you could try and find out from the local delivery office. They'll be very cagey about telling you anything, but tell them you don't want any information about it, just whether or not there is a redirection for your property...if there is, you could post them to your house, with their name and they'll get redirected to where they should go.

Alternatively you could take them to your local town council, they may have the means to help you but again, the caveat is that they still live in the area under that council.

Finally...well, you could use the internetz to find their new address! Again, if you bought your place reasonably recently you might be able to find out through the solicitor you used to make the deal.

We've had the house almost 10 years now. Last I heard the guy was still living local somewhere, but no one seems to know.

I think I'll pop it in to the Registrar at the local council and they can do with it what they will.
