Cheers for the opinions, boys. I went with Amazon in the end. And, like a fool, I forgot to order it this morning and only just did the order now. 1st class was only ?1.50 on top so went with that as punishment for my foolishness.

In other news:

This evening, there was a private screening of something at one of the hotels I work at. Among the guests I spotted David Baddiel and someone else who's name escapes me. One of the guys reckoned Jane Goldman was there, too, but I only saw one woman with red hair and it definitely wasn't her.

there's a film starting on sky now, the stepfather, which opens with some choir singing silent night. makes me want to play hitman again, i think a purchase is in order tomorrow, again.

I was going to watch that film (mainly as I saw Sela Ward was in it) until I saw it was a remake of an 80's film that starred Terry O'Quinn as the evil stepfather. 80's horror with Locke from Lost as the bad guy? Bought in on Amazon within five minutes

Haven't seen the original, but tbh honest this one isn't really grabbing me, only watching it cos there's sod all else on right now.

I watched it the other night and it was pretty poor.

The Stepfather was saying lots of odd, creepy, serial-killer types of things and nobody really picks up on it. We were shouting at the stupid people on screen.

I'm not sure if it made it worse or better that I was compiling a funk album and in creepy suspense scenes, one ear had some fast wah wah blasting away...

I decided to stop at wave 50 as I need to go to sleep now. On wave 51, I flicked to another tab and let the stuff fall before flicking back and typing like a madman. It was pretty hectic!

I'm going to be playing that a lot. I kept making silly mistakes and I think I've become lax when it comes to spelling as Firefox corrects it. Ironically, the word Firefox itself gets flagged

Going to ice hockey game on Saturday night! Dunno anything about the sport though, should be a laugh.

Do they still have punch-ups? That's all I know about ice hockey, and that there's a police light when someone scores. Basically, all I know about it is what I learned from EA Hockey on the MD.

I went to see an ice hockey game when I was in the US recently, and was hugely disappointed by the lack of fights. Any potential rucks are jumped on very quickly by officials, so the best hope of violence you've got is seeing someone get taken out by a decent check.
