How has everyone been making the most of the weekend?

DS out in the garden, catching some rays and playing tennis.
Well, I can't play tennis, so it was trying to hit the ball back and forth over the net, which is still fun. Plus some girl started doing yoga on the grass next to the court, and my game went right downhill after that...

How has everyone been making the most of the weekend?

Well, weekend started badly, got in at 3am from going out friday, only to be awoken at 7am by this happening right outside my bedroom window:



Ran into a sign that was there (the signs under the car). Obviously some crazy drunkard, driving on the wrong side of the road, oh, and of course, the pavement . Not quite sure how they managed it tbh. To rub salt into the wound, the alarm of the car was going off for a good 5 minutes after the crash, meaning there was no chance of going back to sleep.

Anyway, apart from that, bought camping stuff for download festival, had a BBQ at my parents on saturday, and another on sunday

Rounded off the weekend by completing Hitman Blood Money and watching Scrubs! Hurrah!

It is sooooo hot today and I just wanna sit outside and watch Simpsons and Family Guy on my PSP but the sun makes it too bright to look at the screen easily, I've tried boxing the PSP in around papers and stuff to detract the sunlight but it wont work.

Any ideas?

heh I tried bit of gaming in the sun at lunchtime also, Playgear Pocket case is best solution I've come across so far, but it's not great

I think the sunlight reflecting off the screen is nature giving you a hint. I've tried so many things to make gaming outside enjoyable, but I just feel like I'm missing the point of being outside in the first place. And trying it, last summer, totally ruined the ambience of Metroid Fusion for me. Damn sun and it's infernal rays >_<
