My mates not proposed yet but he's going to and I've been "warned" I'll be asked to be best man. I'm really chuffed he wants me to be and terrified at the same time.

It's nice to be asked, and you will be chuffed for ages, until it gets a bit closer to the date, around the 2 month mark. You will then start the "terrified" phase.

For the first time in about 10 years I've accidentally super glued two of my fingers together.

superglue is excellent stuff - not only does it smell nice, it's great for deep cuts (as it was initially invented for). a while back i sliced into my finger with a serated knife - quite badly as it turned out, gushed like all hell and not the pissy red blood you get with normal cuts, this was the dark brown/red stuff. didn't need stitches but i can feel i have done some nerve damage as the tip of my finger and the area around the scar is numb.

anyway, it wasn't closing as the wound was ragged, so i whack on some superglue and leave it overnight. sorted. now i have a scar on my right index finger.

nah, i don't worry about crap like that - i grew up on my grandparent's farm so i'm pretty much indestructible. i held my hand up until the bleeding slowed then put the glue on - superglue is essentially inert and non-reactive, plus it's consistency stops it from mixing with the blood.

the wound would have to be amazingly deep to have any chance of getting into your system.

In fact even though its ages off I had a dream the other night where I was ad-libbing it. This is the same dream in which Jessica Biel was sat on my lap giving it the old gyrations. Ahhh what a dream. I woke up in a cold clammy sweat with a big grin on my face.
