i originally wanted a cappuccino, and looked at a few last year. but they always seemed to be quite expensive for not that great condition.... usually fairly rusty. but they were great to drive, with the tiny engine and turbo.
this was a bit of a pain in the recent snow, but its coming good now the weathers heating up with the electric roof.

Those of us who drive in Japan (be it automatic or manual) are well aware of the ridiculously low speed limits, especially us from Europe. Well get this, the Japanese police have come up with more bull **** for us people who can drive properly (ie: non Japanese). They are no longer content with stopping and fining people for driving slightly over the low speed limit instead of doing real police work. No, now the new law as of April this year states that anyone found doing 20km over the speed limit on normal roads will lose their licence! Talk about ****ing stupid.
When the F*ck will the dumb Japanese road police understand that it's the lack of manners and skill that causes most road accidents in this country. EVERY DAY and I mean EVERY DAY on my way to and from work I see at least 10 ass hats driving like **** and most of them aren't even speeding. These are the people the police should be penalizing if you ask me.
I tell you, this country is become more like China and North Korea every day. License for this, license for that, can't do his, can't do that

Yakumo,
You are right, the limits are absurd. 30kph which you see on many town roads is 18mph, ffs. Some limits are impossible to keep to if going down hill, for example, unless you spend the whole time riding the brake pedal or put it in 1st or 2nd if in an MT car.
We both know that the police wont enforce it, though. They have their priorities mixed up anyway. We need traffic calming measures, like speed bumps and chicanes in areas of potential danger like around schools, etc. and a realistic limit on major roads that have no pedestrians. 80kph on main routes would be fine, and 120 on expressways. The laws were written years ago but cars have changed beyond imagination since, in terms of safety, so the law should reflect that.

My brother in law has just bought a Mercedes SL 55 AMG. I'm yet to see it in the flesh but can't wait for a go. Glad to see someone making the most of top end car price crashes.
It's a '55 plate and he got it for a third of the original retail price, that's pretty hefty depreciation, 65%+ in 3.5 years, ouch. Problem is if it keeps on depreciating I guess.
Fuel consumptions not too great either, he reports 18mpg is good when taking it fairly easy!!
