Those porker wheels make me wonder why people feel the need to mod expensive sports/super cars. For me personally, pimped out Ferraris and the like are an abomination. They don't need it as other cars are trying to be what they are in the first pace, so let them look silly with their bling bling alloys and fugly aero parts.

It can be done, but not cheaply.

/pictures ChrisField needing therapy after seeing that. At least the crests aren't mono eh.
Apparently I can't just post "" as it's too short. But that's all I wanted to say.

Edit: Actually, while I remember... on the way to work today I saw a lovely old 911 Carerra 2. Obviously cherished, nice paintwork, personalised "C2..." plate. Then smacked on the side was an Adidas sticker

Not sure if someone was following the sat nav, but this is how you get a Porsche Panamera up onto the 94th floor of a building:

On the subject of Porsche, a possible rendering of what a new 928 might look like. Stunning I say.

Very nice! I know it doesn't share too many features with it, but it reminds me of the Ferrari California:

I think its the headlamps that look similar to me?

I thought it looked like a cross breed of an MR2 and an RX7 at the front.

It's all speculation right now. The argument being that given the costs of setting up the Panamera platform, making another vehicle from the same line would make financial sense.

Also the next mid engined Ferrari, the replacement of the F430 has been snapped apparently. I like the rendering.

That's proper awesome. Reminds me of the liquid the wonders around the drilling platform in The Abyss.

                        FFS!

So a few months back whilst travelling down the M4, I managed to be in the wrong place at the wrong time to have a stone fly up and badly cracked my windscreen whilst doing 80mph (don't speed kids!)

Got Autoglass out thanks to the Insurance company and the first guy they sent out couldn't fix it because it was too big (depsite me telling him on the phone how big it was and I didn't think it could be classed as a `stone chip`).

I then had to wait four weeks while they tried to get the replacement glass because the car model is so new. Fair enough.

Bloke phones up to make an appointment. The I get another phonecall a few days later to tell me (quite literally) that the guy who made the appointment was talking bollocks and it won't be for another few weeks.

Guy eventually turns up, fits it and every thing's fine. Until I find he hasn't reconnected the windscreen washers.

Could have done it myself but out of principle I call him back and everything seems to be sorted. Until today when I get out of the car and find the strips on both sides of the windscreen are coming away because the fitter did a **** job with the adhesive.

I'm half tempted to just go and see if I can get some sealant and do it myself rather than have them back out to bugger things up again

                        Comment

Get them back out mate, it is a special sealant they use for windscreens - Not B&Q bathroom sealer

Oh and ring up your insurance company and complain, tell them the hassle you have had using their specialist glass firm - My mate had grief when they did his screen, similar to you, and he had his excess refunded, but ye have to play your face some.

Good point, I'd paid the first £70 (admittedly a lot cheaper than what it would have cost for the whole thing) but they've been nothing but problems. Time to ring the Insurance company and complain!

I was also going to chime in and say to get them to sort it. Reason being if, heaven forbid, anything does go wrong then your insurers will probably find you responsbile rather than Automuppets. Their fault, get them to fix it.

Total change of subject, saw a matt black R8 on the road last night. Stunning looking is all I can say.
