lots of £6 Lonely Planet city guides have gone free as some sort of volcano based freebie promo, pick em up whilst you don't need them is my attitude and store em on the pc.
And also, ****, there's a freakin' Bullseye game! After The Crystal Maze, I just need Catchphrase and Wheel of Fortune (UK) to get apps and I can lock myself in a room and never leave.
One for the retro users out there, Sid Player is an App that lets you play C64 music on the iPhone and it's 59p.
There's over well 35,000 song files available to listen to, when you select one it downloads it before playing which takes a second or so. There is the option to download the 270MB HSVC file which will download them all in one go. My phone is now showing the countdown for all these songs and it's currently at 32,473.
I suppose I may as well add this now that I've posted that one. Commodore 64 is an official emulator. The emulator is free and depending on the license the producers have been able to agree the games can either be free or chargeable.
Pretty phenomenal isn't it really. Looks rather quick / smooth too, even on a 2G iPhone. Much respect to the guy. l guess the only negative(s) would be the lack of buttons. Looked a bit fiddly in places when he was trying to do things.
good news, Swords and Poker 2 announced and the first one cheap for anybody who hasn't got it yet. One of my top iphone games and with a lite version available too really recomend people to check it out.
