Well for what its worth, I just upgraded to iOS 5 last week and checked a couple of games there and they had saved their save progress over.

Yeah I updated to iOS 5 on my standard 4 and that transferred the save.


But I did the GF's 4 to 4S upgrade (inc iOS5) and she can't access her Tiny Tower save on her new device but it is still available on the old one...

Will just have to grin and bear it but I don't won't to lose 120 lvls of progress.

This will be very annoying re Tiny Tower, I've only around half your levels but no way I'm starting all over again. Perhaps they will fix it in an update?

Are you on a mac? If you are you can get something called iphone explorer. Then inside your applications folder there will be a documents folder, you copy that and then paste it onto the new one. (I think) Give it a google, but I did it and it worked when I completely wiped my iphone 3gs.

Well it all worked very well! Everything up to date and no issues. 4S seems a lot faster than the 4 so far.

Im absolutely luvin my new Iphone 4S, its my first Iphone so im obviously gonna be in la la land for a while... It is SO intuitive... Ive jus ordered a hand made case for it

Gotta ask though, Ive set up my phone to use the wifi at home. When I go out i will obvioulsy be usng the 3G capabilities and it will start eating my data allowance. But when i get home, how do i make it change automatically, so it goes back to teh wifi in my house?

oh and luv the imessaging its like the perks of bbm, minus the black berry

Not had a chance to get any apps yet, but will do very soon

Siri is a bit hit and miss though... :/

It will just use wifi at home. The 3G symbol will disappear and the wifi one take it's place. You need do nothing.

Apparently we might not even be getting Siri in Ireland. Not hugely surprising.

It prioritises wifi over 3G so you won't have to worry. Just keep an eye out for fan-shaped the wifi icon at home and you'll know!

I turn wifi off while outside because it drains the battery more(as it keeps trying to find wifi spots), but it's up to you.

Ahh... thanks guys... I will take that suggestion billy about the wifi being off when out and about... you are not wrong about teh battery life, damn thing hits 20% in the late evening. My old phone would last atleast 3 days before a charge, gonna hafta get used to plugging the iphone into the wall before bed time from now on...

its nice how they mix text messsaging and imessaging in one so you just type and it does the rest Plus the resolution of the screen is just beautiful... Im thinking this is what the PSvita will look like when its out

Now that ive gone iphone, i aint never gonna be able to go back to anything else...

The battery life is because you're on your honeymoon. Under normal use it ought to go a couple of days. Oh, and nothing else looks like a retina display. Vita will look more like a Galaxy screen I reckon.
