I used to hate Apple, but then one morning I woke up and realised all my main stuff is Apple and that I'm just too old to be elitist. I'm not saying anyone anti-Apple is elitist, far from it, just that my anti-Apple sentiments were just me being elitist.
Horses for courses and all that, and I see nothing inherently wrong with noob's comment, but I do get irritated when people can't accept that I use/buy something just because I like it. No one asks me why I like Ribena or Milkybar, they just accept it.

Irk: All my mates on FB complaining about these new changes but who'll stick along for the ride, regardless. These are the same people who still haven't gone through their privacy settings after FB busted their shizzle wide open last year, and the irony of complaining about how open it's getting in a post that is readable by everyone on FB is completely lost on them.

In the process of putting together my new kitchen that I've just bought (well, ordered it weeks ago, but needed to get it and then get some electrical stuff in order before starting). The manual for the thing is lacking to put it mildly. Some of the cabinets come with several parts that are not even mentioned in the manual. The cabinet for my stove comes with 4 parts I don't know where to fit! None of the parts are labeled with anything but a model number, so it was hard enough to make out what all the pieces were. Other times the manual is faulty, telling me I might need 20 of a specific screw, where in reality I only need 12. Have sent an e-mail to the production company, but probably won't get a reply for at least a day. On my fifth week with no kitchen, getting very irked.
Edit:
Got an automated response: Will get back to me within 3 days. Gave me a foreign telephone number in case of emergencies, don't know the country code (guessing it's Sweden) but don't want a huge phone bill anyhow. Guess I'll go to the store and treat myself to their finest microwave dinner to ease my frustration. Might put one of the larger Cokes in one of the store freezers for a few minutes so that I might enjoy a cold soda tonight.Last edited by JSR; 23-09-2011, 18:57.
