      *shakes fist*

and yes it does look like a ?1 binder, hence my reluctance to buy any of these for RRP.

What are people using to wipe their finger print addled screens, the sofa cushions aren't cutting it.

slightly damp cloth or non alcoholic screen wipes, it says it has an oleophobic coated screen (to prevent against damage from finger oils etc), so ... well in the end you just leave it and looks terrible.. basically

I use a glasses cleaning cloth. Cleans up no bother. The oleophobic coating makes it easy to clean.

Picked up GTA Chinatown Wars, looks very nice, touch controls are slightly gay as usual, not a spoiler though.

Base you're buying all these pricy gash ipad games and stuff, I am amazed.

I've noticed a few miniscule marks on the metal bezel of mine I guess I must have banged it on something before I bought the case, oh well the new one will be out in less than 6 months I spose.

                      X-Plane is pretty cool though

Thing is I know I would never be buying these games if I hadnt just spent trillions on a giant jab pad.

Can any iPad owners fill me in on how they use the device?

To me, all these new "tablet computers" seem to be a solution in search of a problem. Not useful enough to be a laptop, not small enough to be a phone. What am I missing?

Nothing Its a lot smaller and lighter to take on the train mind you. I really like mine when I just want a quick surf while listening to music or whatever. No-one really needs one but if they have one they usually like using it. Works great as a big ass airtunes remote with my stereo too.

It's a device that actually makes using a 'computer' much easier. I mainly use my iPad for email and web browsing with some gaming and e-book stuff as well. Not really much requirement for an iMac to do that kind of thing is there?Which is what i had prior to the iPad.

I've just been up north visiting family and we were in a small village for dinner. An older couple came into the pub and i was surprised to see them whip out an iPad. They were sorting out travel arrangements on the hoof. Carting a laptop around with you for that would be overkill and a lot heavier. Please the ease of use makes it a more natural fit for older peeps who may find Win 7, OSX or a Linux distro to be difficult to use.

Once printing comes to the iPad in November I will have pretty much no reason to go near the laptop other than to sync my iPad and iPhone.

I can check my email in the morning before my laptops got past the bios when I turn it on, which is always nice. Always ready to have a quick surf on, none of this turning on and booting stuff. Battery life is insane too.

It sits on the coffee table in the living room most of the time and is always nicely charged so it just gets picked up and used for 2 mins at a time for the web/email.
It's very nice for games like osmos, dodonpachi, etc and me and the mrs also use it for cryptic crosswords too.
Also going to be very useful for taking on holiday to use on flights and anywhere we get free wifi.
