Chloe getting a gift from Santa at her toddler group christmas party yesterday

Wow, she's grown since the last pic I saw! How old is she now? Bet you're so proud!

Elyza is 8 months on Xmas day, and she still leaves me in awe every day. Despite being ill, spending time in hospital and having medication 3 times daily, she still lives every moment with a big smile which in turn makes me smile.

Also...

Been playing Saints Row III thanks to PS+ and recently discovered 'the Mix 107.77' radio station. I can just sit here for ages listening to the stuff on there.

Due to Japan not considering Christmas a public holiday, we had an early Christmas weekend(three days because today was a public holiday - the Emperor's birthday) which included:

- Watching The Snowman while making a gingerbread house someone got me for my birthday. Used chopsticks to stick tiny sweets onto the chocolate sauce for lettering. We did well. It also made my room smell of gingerbread which was marvellous.

- Making mulled wine which turned out pretty damn good.

- Gf finding mince pies. Real ones by Walkers:



- Gorging ourselves on sweets, crisps, etc.

She's booked us a hotel for tomorrow night which'll be nice, and at 10pm today I decided to make eggnog as I didn't get a chance to make it over the weekend so it'll be a nice surprise for her. Took bloody ages whisking it by hand but totally worth it.
