And therein lies the difference I guess.
Hence my simple question: Is the 4K revenue based on sales of the product, or also a % of the team of "Recruits" that you pull in? As a follow up and potentially even more suspicous question would be, is this direct recuits or also secondary or even third level recruits "Of recruits"?

If it's the latter then I would touch it with a barge pole.

From what I remember from the seminar it's all based on recruits & their recruits & then their recruits to earn you money.

I knew full well I'd never be able to rope anybody else into selling this stuff so would make a pittance if anything so that was that, not for me.

People don't promote these schemes for any other reason than to benefit themselves.
'You could earn loads of cash' means 'You could earn me loads of cash'.

Yep, and that's a pyramid scheme with a product to keep it on the right side of the law. Which for better or worse is what most MLM companies are.

Charles is the owner of the site, so he can circumnavigate the forum rules as per:

            - Advertising is not allowed on this forum without express consent from the owners. This includes retail outlets and commercial/non-commercial websites

As a member I respect that the team use a lot of their time an energy to look after the place for us, and I can understand the motivation to promote Herballife & go outside the normal forum rules, but to be honest this new direction leaves me feeling uneasy.

It's disrespectful, especially to paid members.

New direction? I didn't have a clue what Charles did for a living until yesterday. There is no new direction as far as we know.

Google Forever Living that's the mob...I actually spoke to Charles in length & have been to the seminar & it works totally on you getting others involved & taking from their sales as well.

Didn't look like being even close to viable to me so declined

I was privated messages about it and declined but didn't go to a seminar

I didn't think it seemed like it was for me but was nice to be offered

Well it's a new direction that Charles is using the boards to recruit people into a commercial enterprise, especially an MLM. Don't you think? The site is based on an admin team of Mods, and content from writers and forum members. This builds a "User base" and we try to help with the running of the place with the blue scheme. It feels like a breach in trust to break the forums own rules and hijack a thread for recruitment and /or send PM's trying to get members to become your recruits in an MLM.

This is a new direction. I could of course just ignored it, and probably should.

I actually went to Charles about it after he'd mentioned it on here somewhere & then thought I'd give it the benefit of the doubt so popped along to the seminar as well.

That was when I realised it definitely wouldn't be for me, I just wouldn't be able to get the recruits that you'd need to make it a viable proposition.

I can only speak for myself here, but I can assure you as a moderator that I'm here only because of gaming and being part of the community of this board.

Colin, sorry I wasn't clear. I meant it is a breach of trust towards the mods/writers too. I did not mean that you guys are also part of the recruitment.

Herbalife is a ligitimate company and as the forums belong to Charles, it's his decision to promote/recruit here.

There is quite a selection of Pedro stuff once they get older like white boot like trainers which look fine, velcro and lace ups etc. My son and wife are both a size four and she said tried on the boots once and said are the most comfortable things ever.

He did have physio when he was young, but don't honestly think it helped much - son is autistic and couldn't tell us even if he wanted to.

The people in Clarkes are normally pretty useful and informed and can suggest something with extra support and the like.
Yeah think that's the name of them - they were supposed to be in before xmas, but nowt yet.

He's been non stop walking around (barefoot and with his current shoes) at the moment though, great to see it.

It's not really a new direction, Charlesr has been running his business for several years now and has offered the chance to people in the past, he doesn't cover the site in ads for it or constantly mentions it, it just occasionally comes up in the topic of conversation. I always just assumed that it's because we all know each other very well and are part of a community, the relationships we have here often extend beyond these pages.

It sounds like it works out really well for him (have you seen his holiday photos?) , I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing that he wants more people to be involved especially if they can get the benefits that he does.

If you start seeing banners for Forever living or sponsored avatars, then I'd perhaps consider that a new direction.
