The Tories are pushing a permanent cut to stamp duty, Labour is outlining its position on business rates, and the Lib Dems are pledging three new national parks.
Oh dear Sunak skipped out early on the Dday events to do an itv interview about his tax policy, missing being pictured with current world leaders leading to the question where was he and what was he thinking. An absolutely massive lapse of judgement from Sunak.

In what would be a disasterous election campaign so far even had the Tories been in front...
Mordaunt, for the Tories, faced Labour’s Angela Rayner, Reform’s Nigel Farage and candidates from Lib Dems, SNP, Greens and Plaid Cymru
Sunak spends the day deflecting claims he'd considered not attending the D-Day celebrations

Mr Farage said the row proves that Rishi Sunak is "not a patriotic leader of the Conservative party".

I think I'd die of laughter if the Tories somehow did badly enough at the GE to not even be the official opposition come the next Parliament.
Hopefully people will vote tactically and get the Lib Dems as the opposition.
They'd never team up with The Tories ever again - too much damage to their profile that they're only just recovering from, which is nuts as all the things they're tarred with were Tory ideas!
Speaking of which, they're currently launching their manifesto, focusing on the NHS:
In an interview with the BBC's Nick Robinson, the prime minister was also asked about D-Day and Tory tax plans.
A couple of Reform candidates have been told to stand down because they made racist and religious remarks.

Davey says rejoining the EU is now a long term prospect due to the damage to relations the Tories have caused
It's hard to imagine the Lib Dems will come out well, it's not that they're bad just that they're so vanilla in this election that they are barely even part of the discussion. Focusing on an 'NHS manifesto' is nothing that will stand out and really it's Labour that they need to get votes from as right wingers won't be won over and the Tory base has already been ravaged.

I think that it is clear that Reform's sole aim is to be enough of a disruptor to force the Tories even further right and then assimilate with them, not far off what happened with the Conservatives in Canada that eventually led to Stephen Harper being Canadian PM. If that were to happen then that would be frightening.

Rightwing Tories plan ‘rebel manifesto’ if Sunak’s policy launch falls flat | General election 2024 | The Guardian
Because launching a poor manifesto only to then launch a second manifesto that doubles down on the aspects that will have failed is what will definitely make the party look good.

Tories will be leading with a promise of 2p cut in national insurance. It doesn't matter what the calculation is, there's no planet except the Tory one where making a big splash about two pence sounds exciting
They are also pushing tax breaks for landlords selling their property. Good job there are so few landlords within the Conservatives....
The party has own goaled itself with new online adverts warning voters that a vote for the Lib Dems or Reform UK will ensure a massive majority for Labour - a move that has prompted responses saying it's the Tories blatantly admitting defeat in their own campaign material.
