All over and all over in my opinion. The meffs aren't going to drop many points. Certainly not as many silly ones as us.

We HAD the quality but a number of players seem to have gone backwards. What has happened to Ryan Babel? Why is Lucas unable to make a game?
Why is Dunne playing as goalkeeper? Why do we concede goals on about 50% of the chances we give away?
It is so frustrating and with what has happened in other games and teams playing weakened sides against Man U (wtf Fulham?) the gap seems unassailable. So did 3-0 at Istanbul but when decisions will not go for us, it is so hard.

Who ever says the league is over is right actually. Apparently there have only been two other occasions when a team who was top of the league at this stage with a 7 or so point lead has ever gone on to NOT win it, and lets be frank about it, we're in no good form to start saying hope this or can do that..

Can't stop believing though

I hope we at least take maximum points from Boro & Sunderland so that we can go into the Man U game still in touch. A win at Old Trafford, even though we'd still be 4 points behind, would turn up the heat a little.

As much as it pains me to say, and yes, football is a funny old game and anything can happen BUT.. There is no way Man Utd will squander a 7 point lead in the next 12 games. The facts and figures point out that, they have won their last 12 or so games in a row, so why would they not win their next 12? .. Everyone goes on about the law of averages, but it's the same as saying, if you flip a coin 10 times and each time it lands on heads, the 11th toss of the coin will still be a 50 - 50 chance. So what I'm trying to say is, because they have won lots of games in a row, it doesn't necessarily mean they are due a bad patch now till the end of the season.
Speaking from my own view on our own team, can you really say we deserve to win the league after the times we've been awful this season anyway?.. I can't

No we don't deserve the league in any sense, our home record is abysmal compared to what we're used to. However i still think we have made alot of progress this year and i'm just hoping we get the behind-the-scenes stuff sorted out asap because it's hurting us bigtime. That and a mini clearout in the summer, you all know who you are, then hopefully, hopefully we can get some squad depth and quality to stop these silly dropped points at home ( man city game not included, we didnt deserve to draw let alone win!).

Although it could/should be better, our home record is still better than Chelsea, Villa or Arsenal and we are still undefeated there.
Yesterday was a good illustration of the problem that exists which will (probably, it's not over yet!) keep us from winning the league. We were missing two of our best/most creative players in Xabi Alonso and Gerrard. Our options for direct replacements in the midfield were Lucas, who has about 15 starts in English football to his name and Jay Spearing, who has never even kicked a ball in the premier league. Both might turn out to be cracking players in the future, but at the moment you wouldn't want to have to rely on either of them.
I'm happy with the progress made this season though, we've become an incredibly difficult team to beat with lots of fight and character, just missing a little bit of spark/magic outside of Gerrard and Torres and a little bit of depth in the squad.
Unfortunately that last little bit is the really hard part...we'll either need 2 or 3 of the kids coming through to be real top/international quality (and only Insua looks likely at the moment) or we'll need to invest in players in the same fashion as United (i.e supporting the manager by paying what is required to get his first choice targets).
