So, Liverpool need Lyon to get a draw or win at Fiorentina and then Liverpool need to win their last 2 games. Right?

Unlikely on that performance, especially considering Lyon dont actually need a draw or win.

Given the demolition job Fiorentina did on Debrecen this evening, I suspect they'll be topping the group.

Lyon were absolutely shocking, really awful in passing and attacking.

Liverpool should've really taken command of the game and dominated but they were unlucky to concede.

            Are you The Riddler?

Yeah we were unlucky to concede and to have a golden chance fall to pornstar after controlling much of the game.

We definitely played better than we did at Fulham. As for Lyon, how we ever lost to them at home God only knows...

We made quite a few solid chances today, in particular Vornin's one on one with the keeper. He has to be the worst striker we've had. Babel scored a cracking goal, but right after also showed why he's usually awful with a shocking free kick.

The result was harsh. We definitely played better than Lyon. Just, when your chips are down, they're certainly down.

For a 44-international cap, Euro 2004-winning Defender to defend the way he did for Lisandro's equalizer, Kyriagkos needs shooting in the head. Voronin too for his performance.

                Absolutely bloody awful.

Feel a bit sorry for Voronin, every time there was a close up of him on the telly he looked like he was close to tears.

                    Sorry - I don't.

I agree with Supergoal - Voronin has to be arguably the worst striker that we've ever had, and that's saying something when you consider past flops like El-Hadji Diouf, Sean Dundee & Erik Meijer.

                      Well, that's harsh IMO

I just feel sorry for a guy, who whilst he's obviously no world beater, runs around the pitch generally trying his best IMO and who has been booed onto the pitch on more than one occasion for no real reason. I think his confidence has been battered in much the same way Lucas's was. Lucas seems like a tough enough lad to battle through it, I don't think Voronin is...

Liverpool will be lucky to finish 5th in the prem, another balloon and maybe relegation even?

We will still finish in the top 4. Because our first eleven is better than the competition for fourth. As long as we don't lose too much ground before they can return fully fit.

With the squad mancity has now they must smell the blood, it's only a matter of time before one of the top four slips up and it looks like liverpool.

Yeah I agree, but not this season. I think Man City have drawn their last two Fulham and Birmingham home and away. So not this season.

Perhaps Spurs will get the 4th spot, they have been a little under par recently, but with Defoe, Modric and Lennon coming back, the could push hard for a top 4 finish
