I think it's just a case of playing N'Gog as much as possible and hope that improves him (much like Lucas). I like him anyway, he might not be the most 'dangerous' striker ever but he can play on his own, holds the ball up pretty well and has a decent enough size/height to challenge in the air. Not blessed with super pace but he's quick enough and works hard

Must admit I think Ngog has done pretty well. He is certainly one I would play over Babel. Ngog was just thrown in on his own up front at times.

When Babel came on for the last 30 minutes I thought he was lazy and didn't chase the ball down from the front. The sign of a player totally not arsed.

When Babel came on against Everton, he was fine for about five mins - chasing and working the line. After that (my friend just commented that he thought this in fact), he just became so lazy. What annoys me is that the crowd are obviously restless when he does not chase and he could definitely hear how much they appreciate it when Kuyt chases and wins a ball.

Rafa didn't want to get rid of Crouch, has said so many times and said so at the time. He could not guarantee him games all the time but has said that it is that kind of situation where extra money can sort probs out. He would not be "happy" but he would recognise that he is valued - as happens all over the place.

Yes, I'll actually miss them least out of everything here. I know hate's a strong word but I really do hate Everton fans. I'm not a massive fan of the city tbh, and i'm not a militant local or anything I much prefer London to here. but it's home, and obviously i'm 26, Liverpool fan, been through the good days and the bad. it's been the highlight of growing up here the team. It's a great club.

For Liverpool to win the EPL they need to get rid of all their foreign deadwood. There is far too many foreigner's at the club.

Rafa Benitez needs to go and be replaced by someone like Alex McLeish. He'd give the team a boot up the arse and instil a britishness about them again.

TBH I dont understand rival fan hate either. I dont hate Spurs fans, and I'd be confused if they hated me cos of who I support. I think Sheezy's just generalising, I bet he has mates that support Everton!

The signing of Milan Jovanovic from Standard Liege on a free next season looks done and dusted. Looking very much like Marouane Chamakh will become an Arsenal player after talks with us broke down.

Don't know anything about Jovanovic, tbh. Anyone on here able to give me the lowdown? Milan, Juventus & Real Madrid were reported to have been interested...

He has pretty decent PES stats (mostly 80+ on attacking stats), that's all I know

I have some mates who support everton. They're more mates from the pub than real mates though I guess. I hate them when it comes to football though. They don't exactly like me when it comes to football either mind, especially since we beat them every time we play.

Local rivalry. They're a horrible, miserable club full of thick racist supporters who sing songs about our players' children. Even if it's pathetic in your opinion (and let's be honest you won't know any everton fans in Bournmouth so you won't understand what a horrible bunch of cretins they are), that's just the way it has to be. I hate them.


PS we're doing well here so far, but still a bit negative when we've got the ball. I can see what we're trying to do n all, but I just hope it works.
