I am annoyed with Liverpool, we had over 20 shots today (as we often seem to do) but a fairly low number on target (5 or 6 maybe). This is poor and, frankly, we deserve to not take all the points for being so profligate.

Doesn't look like Liverpool out there tonight. Agger and Dossena are pissing about in defence, while players like El Zhar and Lucas are giving the ball away. They're playing quite simply ****e Spurs are looking great though. Really closing the midfielders and defenders down quickly.

I was worried at first with us playing really well but the final ball letting us down most times, worried Liverpool would end up doing to us what we did to them in the league. That little goal glut calmed my nerves a bit though! It's gonna have to be one hell of a bottling from us to mess this one up! Still, as a Spurs fan, you never really feel safe even with a 3-0 lead at half time

Oh, so true - 40 years ago when I first started following Spurs it was the same and it's never changed. A fragile defence seems to be a defining Tottenham characteristic. Makes for some great adrenaline rushes though because you're never quite sure until that final whistle goes.

Hope Gomes is okay but bloody hell, he was single handedly trying to get Liverpool back into that match! Good display from us though, like Alan Smith said on commentary if it hadn't been for our gifts Liverpool wouldn't have got anything.
