Neither will I have put up him having a pop at a fan made video about the state the club is in. Not being a fan, he's in no position to comment on the desperate state some of us have found ourselves in at watching the club I've loved since birth run into the ground by a pair of lying toerags. Ten years ago, Leeds fans saw their club go down the pan because of fan apathy, and yet he feels he's in a position to slag off that video made by people who care for the club. They've put the effort in to try and do something. What's the point in having a go?
It's all too easy to throw stones when you're on the outside looking in, probably mocking the situation we've found ourselves in. Don't expect people not to react on what has been a fairly big couple of days for Liverpool Football Club, and you have to listen to nonsense like that. Yes, it's been feckin emotional.

When you factor in the emotional attachment involved in supporting a club (for those that really care) that becomes something of a spurious analogy.
I don't think anyone actually thinks they own the club, I'm not expecting a share of the profits just for buying a season ticket every year. But I certainly feel more a part of the club than I do of Tesco or wherever I'm doing my shopping. And I'd like to think my voice, and that of other fans carries a certain amount of weight.Last edited by SharkSkin-Man; 07-10-2010, 12:01.

Well after trawling the regular forums (ie. This is Anfield) that I like to visit, I'm quitely confident that we may actually win something! There are a few (so it appears with their knowledge of the subject) forumites in the legal profession who are fairly at ease with the impending courtroom battle.
Mr Broughton ain't no mug, and seeing as Slaughter & May are advising/representing him in the impending court case, we should be under new ownership within a week or so I reckon.

Big difference is that Roman didn't park up at Chelsea and lie through his teeth from day one, nor did he load crippling debt onto Chelsea to effectively stop them being competitive in terms of transfer fees and wages.Last edited by Nu-Eclipse; 07-10-2010, 21:19.
